Chapter#5

Mark drop me off near Joseph furniture store because I told him to drop me off there. I get off the car and say, good bye to mark.

Mark drove away and I texted Joseph that I am standing outside of his store.

He comes out of the store and said,

"Hey Annie you look amazing as always"

He gives me the creepiest smile ever. I roll my eyes and said," Joseph don't call me by this name only Daniel call me Annie and why you want to me. You know that if Daniel knew that he would kill you like he done it before"

" My future brother in law is a bit angry I know but I have good news for you. I'm sending my parents to your house tomorrow for your our marriage" Joseph said

" What! are you going nuts,who told you I'm gonna married to you look Joseph we grew up together and you are like brother to me. I don't love you and I'm not going to marry you... please understand that, how many times I tell you the same thing over and over again" I said

" I know you getting shy, and it's normal for every girl" he said

" Oh God! Gag me with a spoon. I can't handle you anymore. I'm leaving bye"I said and turn around.

" ANNIE I CONSIDER THIS AS A YES!! Joseph screams from back and my neighbor start giving me weird looks. I fasten up my walking pace.

I walked four blocks away to my house



I knocked on the door and Mom open the door. I asked mom, where is Daniel. She told me Daniel is in the cafe. I went upstairs to my room and went to took shower and put on sweatpants and hoodie and went downstairs to help mom in making dinner.

" Annalise how is Natalie doing? and what did you do? Mom asked me.

" She is doing fine and she is coming tomorrow to meet you and mom did you talk to Daniel about my university"I said

" I'll talk to him tonight don't worry about just make a salad" mom said.

I grab a bowl from shelf and made a salad and then I sat a dinning table for dinner because Daniel will be in here in any second.

I heard the door bell ringing. I ran to open the door for Daniel. I pull the door and Daniel were standing...

" Welcome Daniel... I said but he didn't answer me, I felt strange because he never did that before. He stepped inside and I shut the door.

" Denial what happened? Why you are not answering me? I said

He turned his face towards me with rage and anger.

" WHERE YOU WERE!! ANNIE TELL ME! Danial scream on me.

Mom ran out of the kitchen and said," What happened danial? Why are you screaming on Annalise"

"MOM ASk HER! Where she were? All neighbor are talking about her and Joseph. What are you doing with Joseph tell me Annie" denial said

" Danial I didn't nothing wrong I swear believe me danial" I said

Danial lift his hand for slapping me but mom stopped him and said," Annalise go to your room!

I ran upstairs to my room and locked the door. I can't stop crying
