Chapter 13 Preethi - Prasad engagement

After Thamizh and Preethi left, Charu calls her superior officer and informs him about the whole scenario.

"Hello sir, I'm Charu here, I just got some evidence against Anbrasan and his wife declin. One of my friend's brother used to be Anbrasan henchmen but today he revealed the truth that the two dead bodies was killed by Decklin as a warning to Rudhra." Charu revealed everything to her officer.

"Good Charu, now we have solid proof against Anbrasan, with this we can get him arrested for the crimes he made."He replied.

"Yeah sir, we have to take action as fast as we could because my friend said that Decklin blackmailed him that she will destroy his entire family by night," she adds on.

"OK, OK Charu. Be here in 10 minutes and we will discuss what to do."He said to her,

Later Charu asked her team to stop examines for now and start again tomorrow as its already dark.

Charu reached her office and meet with her superior officer. While they discussing about Anbrasan and Decklin, a cop who works for Anbrasan overheard their conversation and inform Anbrasan right away.

"Hey Anbrasan, the officers are planning to take you down today. Please be careful and don't do anything for some time." the cop informs him.

 "Hey Dec, I just got some really bad news for you, our men just informs me that Charu is planning to take us down. So I beg you please don't do anything for some time." He inform Decklin.

"I swear, I'm not gonna leave Charu easily. I think we underestimated her from the beginning, even after we gave warning, she still dare to involved with us."Deklin screams at Anbrasan.

A week passes by, Thamizh still texting preethi hoping she will forgive him and things will go as usual. While Preethi family already finds her an alliance.

Thamizh went to Preethi's office to end their fight today. He went talk to the office admin's Miss. Sree.

"Hey, sree, may I know where is Preethi, I didn't saw her for a week. Did she have any problems?" he asked.

"Hey Thamizh, don't you know that today is her engagement. My whole office went for her function even I will move from here in a little while. She must be lucky as I heard her fiance is damn handsome. I'm so eager to meet him." she replied

"What are u saying Sree, Are u pranking me Sree?" He shockingly asked her.

"Why should I Prank you my baby, Nah, you see the text she sent us." she shows him Preethi's text.

"How can you do like this to me Preethi. I loved you. I'm sure your father must pressure you to agree." He mumbled himself before went from there.

After a while, Charu calls him and invites him to preethi's engagement.

"Hey babe, let's go to Preethi's engagement. She invited me." Charu invited him to join her.

"No Charu, I don't think so. U know right I hated her. U go babe." he replied.

"Thamizh. please come with me. I don't know anyone there. She insisted.

"Ok Charu, Pick me at my office," he tells her before ending the call.

Thamizh feels restless thinking about Preethi. He calls preethi.

"Hey Preethi," he said.

"Bro Preethi is getting ready for the function. Let me give her the phone." Vasan replied.

"What you want now Thamizh. please don't disturb me anymore," she replied angrily.

"Preethi please don't do this. I admit I'm wrong but I love you a lot preethi," he begs her not to agree to this engagement.

"Thamizh. Just shut up. If u keep disturbing me, I will charu. She is trusting you thamizh. Please don't play with her feeling." she adds on before ending the call.

Later charu pick Thamizh and on their way to the function. Later he notices a car is following them. They reached her engagement ceremony. Preethi family members welcomed them happily. Charu holds Thamizh hand and went inside.

"Hey preethi, congratz for the engagement.I'm really happy for you. May I see the lucky guy? Charu congratulate Preethi.

"Thamizh please congratulate her" Charu whisper in his ears.

"Congratz Preethi" he said sadly.

"Thanks, Charu, meet my fiance Prasad Krisnanmoorthy." Preethi shows Prasad who is sitting behind her.

Prasad and Charu looked at each other. Prasad gets sad seeing her holding Thamizh's hand.

"Hey Prasad, What a surprise. How are you buddy? I really missed you. Welcome to the city life." Charu gets happy seeing him.

"Hey Charu. I really don't know you will come to my engagement ceremony. Is this your boyfriend?" Prasad questions her.

"Are u guys know each other. Yaa Prasad he is Thamizh, Charu's boyfriend." Preethi interrupted their conversation.

"yaa. Preethi. He is the one saved me from the goons and I stay at his house for a day. His family is really awesome. They treated me like their own child. You are so lucky Preethi." charu replied in a sad plus happy expression.

"Ohw, is he the one that you told me Charu" Thamizh questions her.

"Yaa. He is. I'm shocked to meet him here." Charu replied.

Later she shook off Thamizh hand. Prasad thinks of Charu and her boyfriend, Thamizh, and get sad.

"Yaa, my uncle and aunt were correct. We cannot trust city girls." He murmured himself.

Thamizh on the other side felt restless seeing Preethi and Prasad together.

Later charu went to meet Prasad's family.

"Hi uncle, hi aunty how are you. I really missed you guys a lot." charu greets them happily.

They get shocked to see her here.

"Hi Charu. We are good. What are u doing here? Did Prasad tell you about his engagement?"Mr. Dhana questions her.

"No uncle. Preethi is my friend. I was shocked to see Prasad as well" she replied.

Later they went away. Charu confused.

"Hi sister. How are you doing? I missed you a lot. Prasad really missed you more than us." Swetha and Kumar hugged her happily.

"Hi guy. I miss you too. I miss our village a lot. don't worry I will come by there soon." Charu replied.

"U don't have to sis. After this, me, Swetha and Prasad will be staying here for a couple of months while mom and dad will go to the village." Swetha tells her.

"What! Is this true? Where u guys will be staying? Come stay with me. My parents won't say anything" Charu offers them.

"Its no need, I already booked them an apartment here. Until Kumar and Swetha finish their internship,Prasad will take care of them ma. U don't have to worry. We can take care of us."Radha interrupted.

"Its ok aunty. I just offering," she replied.

After Radha left, Charu asks Kumar and Swetha why their parents are avoiding her and what makes them think that Prasad is ready for marriage?" charu questions them.

"Even I don't know. A moment after you left, Mr. Dhana tensely asked Prasad to marry faster but he declined. They emotionally hit him so he can't refuse." Swetha tells her.

While they are talking, an uninvited guest comes to Preethi's function.

"Hey. what happen here. did anyone died? No no it's not possible because I haven't killed the family yet." Decklin enters her function with her men.

Charu runs towards Thamizh and starts to record everything silently about declin.

"Where is my loyal dog, Sathish.?"She searches for Sathish.

"There he is, hiding behind his family," she adds on

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Decklin and I'm the one who gonna kill them soon. So you groom, please refused to engage her and ran as fast as u can, or else I will have to put you on my list then."She threatened Prasad unknowingly Charu also present there.

Later Satish tells his family that she is the one who is looking for to kill Vasan and him... They all get shocked.

"Hey, mam, I begged you please don't create a scene here. It's my sister's engagement. Please go from here." Sathish pleased her to leave the function.

" Hey dog. Don't order me what to do. I will kill you now and u knew it. So just shut up. It's all because of you. Your family is in danger because of you. Who asked your brother to helped that characterless girl Geetha, if he mind his work. Nothing will happen and you will be my dog as always." Decklin blamed Vasan for everything.

"Hey you stupid idiot. Mind your words or else I will have to cut your tongue. Don't you dare to say about my sister? My sister is far better than you. She is not like you. Have you see yourself in the mirror, I'm wondering how Anbrasad married you. You are such a disgusting trash and I'm damn sure he is just using you because no one will love a woman like you." Thamizh humiliated her in front of the guest.

"How dare you!?" she raised her hand to slap him but Charu stops her and slap her instead.

"Don't you dare to touch him. I will cut your fingers and throw them at your husband face. Mind it" Charu argues with her.

"Hey who are you now? U shouldn't get involved in this matter but u did and now you will face the consequences. How dare you can slap me. I will show my power and kill you until your parents cant identified you.."Decklin threatened her.

"Let's see I'm waiting," she replied.

Later Charu grab her hair and dragged her outside the function and pushes her away. Everyone present there laughing at Decklin.

"I swear to god that you will regret messing with me. U re in my 1st priorities. I will kill you before I kill Sathish family and Geetha's ." Decklin curses her.

"I don't think you killed before. U re just saying but no action. You are the dog. Most disgusting dog I have ever seen in my life." Charu yells at her so Decklin will revealed her crimes.

"me! I'm doing killing as my daily routine.it's uncountable now. Did u remember the two corpse in front of Mr. Rudhra's house? I'm the one who killed them. You are the next. I killed them quite easily but don't think I will do the same to you. I will make sure that my men will torture you for a week and you will beg yourself to be killed. I will let that happen." Deklin challenges charu.

Charu takes her shoe and throws it at her. The crowd laughs seeing Deklin get humiliated. Decklin glares her angrily before she left.

In the car, she asks her men who is she. They revealed that she is the Charu, the one who is looking for her. Deklin stunned to hear that.

"Whaaat! She is Charu. The crime branch officer?" she asked shockingly.

"I don't care who she is but I will kill her," she tells them.

Later Prasad asked Preethi about the girl. Preethi told him everything.

"Don't worry Preethi, your problem is mine now." Prasad console her while holding her hand.

Thamizh who saw this get furious and decided to leave that place but Charu stops him.

"Hey Thamizh, where are you going. The ceremony is going to start. Please just wait a few minutes." Charu requested him.

He agrees to stay. Later Prasad and Preethi exchange the rings. Thamizh saw it and get hurt.He blames himself for this. Charu on the other side got sad seeing that but she don't know why.

Prasad went to meet Charu and decided to talk with her for some time.

"Hey Preethi, would you mind If I talk to Charu for a while?. She is the one handling my dad's murder case." Prasad asked her.

"Prasad why you are even asking, you can talk with her. I trust you Prasad."She replied.

Later he went to talk with her.

"Hey Charu, I'm really happy for you. Your boyfriend is handsome. He is lucky to have you." Prasad said to Charu.

"Have you find the killer? Any traces for sign of the killer? He questions her

"I should have told you about him earlier . I'm really sorry." She replied.

"The killer don't just killer 2 people. He killed many people even my colleague. I discovered his hideouts and shocked to see the corpse. At first I thought to arrest him and send it to jail but after I saw everything, he don't deserved to be forgiven. So I'm gonna shoot him. Even I got shooting orders from my superior officers.

Later Preethi joins them, so do Thamizh. They had a conversation.

"Hey Prasad, why don't you stay with me in my house.?" Preethi asked him to make Thamizh jealous.

Later Charu and Thamizh get uneasy seeing their closeness.

"I do think about it. Later I asked my aunt opinion about this," he replied.

This irked Charu.

"Preethi my brother and sister are doing an internship here. So my uncle entrusted them to me while they went to the village. Can you recommend to me some work and where to search for jobs? I'm a post-graduate in anthropology and sociology. So its kinda difficult to find me a job.that's why I need your help."Prasad request Preethi.

"Why don't you work in my office?" Charu interrupted.

"No Charu. I think its better if we work in the mine. Moreover we are going to marry soon." she replied.

"Let me ask my chief Prasad.I'm sure we have a vacancy" Preethi replied to Prasad.

Thamizh got angry and ask Charu to move from that place faster.

"Charu, my boss just texted me. He asked me to be in office in 20 minutes." he lied to Charu as he is feeling uncomfortable watching Preethi with Prasad.

"Ok ok babe. Let's go. Please just wait a moment. I'm gonna meet Prasad family." She told Thamizh before went to meet them.

"Uncle, aunty I don't know what makes you guys angry on me. But I swear I didn't do anything. I really love you guys. Take care there. Don't worry, I will take good care of them. Swetha and Kumar are like my family also." she tells them.

"No ma, why should we get angry with you. We just get a little busy as it is the first marriage in the family. take care ma." Radha replied.

She get their blessing before left the venue.

"Hey Swetha and Kumar. This is my number. Call me if anything. Let's go for dinner tomorrow. What you guys say?" she asked them.

"    Yeah. We will love it. Later come we roam around the city. Show us some interesting place to visit." they told her.

"I will sure. Meet you guys later. Don't forget to share your house location. I will be visiting you tonight." she replied.

"Ok sis. We will text you." 

Later Charu went from them as thamizh ask her to be faster. 

"Charu come faster, I will be waiting for you in the car, I have to move now" Thamizh already get into his car and waits for Preeti. Later in-car Charu noticed that Thamizh was so upset and disturbed.

    "Baby are you ok? You are looking so upset by…What happened? Any problem in the office?" Charu worried about him.

    "Nothing deyh, I'm just felt tired today, moreover my boss calling me to the office now, I'm irritated by that, that's all…you don't worry" Thamizh try to pretend from he is broken about Preeti's engagement. Charu just nods her hand and starts using her mobile phone for a awhile.

    Suddenly, while driving Thamizh notices a Persona car in black color following them since they leave from that function. Thamizh feel so uneasy but at the same time he felt that it might be a coincidence too. After a few minutes Thamizh was damn sure that car still following them and the person inside the car might be a spy.

    "Preeti can you look one Persona car behind us by side mirror?" Thamizh asked her. Charu try to look at the mirror and she too found that car. "Yes Thamizh I can see it…what happened baby?"

    "I'm just worried that the person in that car might be one of the Decklin's henchman…."

    "Ahhh….Decklin's goon??" Charu shocked. "How u know that Thamizh…? Charu asked him curiously.

    "No Charu, im noticed that car keep following us from the function hall," Thamizh told Charu. "Bbyy…no way her man following us because we are just going to a function…" Charu tells him simply.

    " No…im damn sure…" "Its ok baby you just turn left now, we will see whether the car still follow us ok?" Charu asked Thamizh. Later as Thamizh suspicious that car too turned left, Charu starts worried.

    "Yes baby as u told that car is following us…try to trap the car Thamizh, we have find out who is that? I want to kill him…Why they keep disturbing us..?" Charu was too angry and she taught that was Decklin's goon. Thamizh try to calm her and finally he trapped that car.

    The car tries to escape but in vain finally they Thamizh catch the goon. The driver was a guy. Later Thamizh pulls him aside and starts enquiring him. Charu was so exasperated and give that guy a tight slap for not answering Thamizh's questions.

    "Who are you idiot? Why are you following us? If you are not answering us, I will shoot you here, don't test my patience…" Charu threatened that guy.

    The guy is scared and ready to reveal the truth….

"Please madam don't kill me….im just doing this for money…please madam…leave me.." that guy pleaded to Thamizh and Charu.

    "Stop this nonsense and just tell me who Is your boss…" Thamizh hit on his head.

    "Mrs.Rani sir….she is the one send me to follow Charu, that's why im following her wherever she went…im just doing all these for money…pls leave me sir..madam…"

"Raaaani….?? Who is that?" Thamizh confused as he don't know Charu's mom name. On the other hand Charu stunned and stood in shock when heard that her own mom send a goon to follow her.
