Seeing her again

(Sorry if the quality of this chapter is not great, i am sick and i spent a lot of time studying since my exams are getting closer)

The next day, All Might called Midoriya to the usual beach for his last training session.

Izuku : Hi All Might!

All Might : Hi Midoriya-shonen, I saw you did well during the entrance exam.

Izuku : How did you know All Might?

All Might : Keep it a secret for now, but I'll be a teacher at U.A high this year.

Izuku : Great, you will still be able to teach me how to be a veritable hero.

All Might : Yes. Your brother didn't come with you today?

Izuku : No he said he wantrd to train on his concepts.

All Might : Concepts?

Izuku : Sorry but I don't know what he meant, sometimes he just like to be mysterious.

All Might : With his great power he should have a great weakness. Do you know about it?

Izuku : I don't know if I can tell you. You should ask him directly instead of asking me.

All Might : You can trust me. Just tell me!

Izuku : What is happening All Might, you're not like you are usually.

All Might : What are you saying just tell me or you can forget joining the hero corps.

Izuku : Are you serious! What happened to the smiling symbol of peace?! You are blackmailing me!

All Might : If you're not telling me, I'll take back One for All!!!

Izuku (tears in the eyes) : You know what, you can have it back your stupid quirk. I rather be a hero without superpowers than betray my own brother.

He then proceeded to pull one of his hair and handed it to All Might. "Take it, I don't know why I though you were a true hero but you're not. You are just like all the others doing it for money and fame. Now that I think about it its not the first time that you ask me about his powers. Did you choose me as your successor just so you can learn about him. Such a shame that the man I looked up to is just like the others and only care about himself." He then ran. He didn't want to see All Might. He didn't want to see anyone. He just want to be alone for some time, he needed it.

All Might : Wait!!! Young Midoriya!

But Izuku didn't stop running. All Might watched him getting further and further from him. He couldn't see his face anymore and even heard him. But he could clearly imagine his face covered in tears and snot.

All Might : What is happening to me? Since when am I like that? Why am I not smiling, why am I bringing sadness instead of joy and safety? Why am I trying to kill a young man. Am I still a hero? What's the difference between Me and All for One.

He reverted to his skeleton form. And for the first time in the history. All Might went to a bar not to celebrate an happy event but just to get drunk. He wanted to forget everything. He didn't knew why he started changing. He only wanted to forgot the pain and the words in his head telling him to do anything to make Murphy unable to leave this world.

The bar was empty. There was only the barman who was cleaning the chairs.

All Might : Give me your strongest drink!

Barman : Its only 1:00 Pm do you really think it's a good idea.

All Might : Please, I need it.

Barman : Its your life not mine just don't die on me!

All Might : Thank!

He then drank like he never drank before. He knew that with his body condition it could be letal but he didn't care. He didn't even knew how he reached his home but he did.

He laid on his bed and closed his eyes. He immediately fall asleep but he didn't felt like the things around him were normal. He opened his eyes and saw that the world around him was engulfed in total darkness, the only ligh that was here was coming from a person seated next to his bed.

All Might : Who are you?

???? : You already forgot about me Toshinori ?

All Might (tearing up) : This voice, it's impossible, I must be too drunk.

???? : No you're not drunk anymore, you're almost dead and are close to the border between life and death. One for All is keeping you alive, that's why you are able to see me without dying or awakening it completely.

All Might : Nana, I have a question. I am really a good hero?

Nana : You were and you still are.

All Might : So why do I have the urge to kill an innocent child?

Nana : I have been able to see everything you were doing since I died and you inherited One for All. The quirk keep the spirit of all the previous wielder alive. We cant communicate between each other but we can sense the other. We all saw your life. Everything.

All Might : That doesn't prove I am a good hero.

Nana : No but we are able to feel that you were not yourself. You were manipulated but we don't know by who. It could be related to the young Murphy.

All Might : But the only know person able to threaten One for All is Murphy.

Nana : No, in the past they were more. They called themselves gods, they are still some evidences of their existence.

All Might : Like ?

Nana : Our quirk the One for All, when you are dead you can learn more about it. It use a concept unknow to human to keep our soul inside it. And I've learned it was created by a god so powerful no one could face him. He was alone on the battlefield during centuries protecting the world from devastation.

All Might : And you really think that I'll believe that. I will wake up without any proof, I'll just think that it was a dream.

Nana : No because since you met one of us, your quirk will become more powerful and you will learn more about it.

All Might : Lets just say that I believe you. What about this god? Why did he left us something so powerful?

Nana : He couldn't fight alone anymore. He though about giving mortals the power to stand up for themselves. But now the quirk is still too weak to take down gods. I don't have much time left.

All Might : Please don't leave a second time. I don't know if you are real but please just guide me one last time.

Nana : Toshinori, just continue smiling and bringing hope to the people around you. You did a good job now its time for you to teach your successor and continue the mission that all the One for All holders have. Vanquish evil and bring peace to the world.

All Might : What about those that manipulated me?

Nana : It will not work anymore, now that One for All evolved and with you will power you would have been able to ignore it but you were unable to because they used it on you when you were feeling weak. I also think that if you know that you are being manipulated it don't work anymore. Now smile Toshi.

All Might : I will try my best

Nana (disappearing) : By the way the god who created our quirk was named Cerulean.
