Water Dragon's Daily Life

Dying to water and being reborn to it. Biggest cliché of my life. [You died to the rocks though.] SHUT UP! You interrupted my monologue, damnit Janice! *sigh* I guess this is life's way of telling me, "Die without regrets." Well, not that I care. I will take advantage of the five forms it gave me though. [Hypocrite] No, no it's not hypocritical, I'm just using what I got! [Is that so.] Janice~ SHUT UP~ [Hmph.] Tsk, finally. So anyway, I- [Let's start the novel already.] JA- {Novel Starting} ------------------------------------------------------------------- LOTS OF TIMESKIPS WILL HAPPEN. Every 10 Powerstones I'll upload a bonus chapter until it gets to a point where we get 10 easily.

Side-Story - LF[1]: Skylar and Sebastian

I thought that this Tuesday would be a normal day.

Then, when I finally got to the station, all the officers were scrambling. Every single officer in the Police force were running around, answering phone calls and screaming at each other, asking for leads.

I only had one thought.

"What in the world."

"Skylar, want me to fill you in?"

A voice came from behind and I turn.

A man stood there, 6'2 with black eyes and hair contrasting his healthy pale skin heavily. He wore the police uniform that we all wear and even looked fashionable in it.

"Sebastian. Yeah, sure."

We start to walk and head around the area with Sebastian shouting orders here and there. Eventually, we get to a debriefing room and we enter, allowing us to see the people here. I sit down and while we wait, people continue to chatter and Sebastian fills me in.

"It's a cult."

Hearing the baffling news, I ask.

"What kind?"

"We don't know."

"What?"

"We don't know. The cult only showed up with a symbol last night."

"Last night? What did they do?"

"...Mass kidnapping."

"Huh?"

"2,500 people disappeared in one night."

I can feel my jaw drop.

"All the people in 17 hotels disappeared, only a single symbol or calling card or whatever they call it left behind."

"What is it? The calling card, is it the Noctus Cult again?"

With disbelief in his eyes, Sebastian spoke out.

"...A glass of water and a note. On a blue table."

I turned my curious expression into a confused and inquisitive one. Seemingly picking up on that, Sebastian said.

"The note said one thing and one thing only."

...

"We will return the people to you, as dried husks."

Side Stories are short stories so don't expect the usual 1000 words. It'll be 200 - 400, maybe even 600 if I feel it's necessary to the plot.
