"Impossible!" Osprey cried. "One ran away over twenty years ago at the age of fifteen knowing absolutely nothing about the outside world. How could he have possibly survived without our help this long, let alone retained any of his skills? And if he was alive, why on earth would he stay in the area?"

"I think the bigger question is how did he end up finding Claire Conway and Six," Timberwolf pointed out. "If she is under his protection right now and he has managed to retain his skills, we can't send out any more agents. Especially since her workplace will now likely get monitored by the police after that stunt the squad pulled to kidnap her."
