Frozen time

"Exactly! That is why the host needs combat experience!" The system suddenly shouted in my mind.

This was the part of the system that I really hated.

Whenever I wanted to think things through, it would always butt in with some comment since it was able to read my mind.

Sometimes…I just wanted my thoughts to be private.

"Sorry…" The system said in a slow voice.

This honestly surprised me more than anything else that the system had said before this. I honestly never thought that the system would suddenly apologize like this and in such a sincere manner.

It even made me feel a bit bad since the system was an important partner of mine…

"Host, the system knows that you've always thought of the system that way."

"Ha…" I couldn't help giving an internal sigh at this.

It seemed like this system really didn't learn from its mistakes and kept making the same mistake again and again.
