Chapter 9: “cute”

So much happened in the cafeteria but Asa only ignored these things and continue to walk towards the classroom but saw stairs leading to the rooftop so he decided that he will eat in there. while walking in the stairs zero talks to him.

[host so how are you?] zero happily asked, while I was just thinking about eating my food this fool decided to interrupt me while asking a question. I ignored him and continue to go to the rooftop.

[host! you are so cruel WAahh--] zero wailed while mumbling different kinds of things towards me. I ignored his cries and instead ask a question about the different kinds of entertainment here in the city.  zero quickly compromised himself and told me the different kinds of entertainment which are Star entertainment, Bluesky entertainment, and the last one is the LV entertainment those are the three most popular entertainment in this city. I ask zero if these three have an audition program and there is. I'm supposed to go the star entertainment but their schedule was complicated so I choose LV which has the best auditioning schedule.

he and zero keep talking that Asa doesn't even realize that he already arrived at the rooftop. He put aside his thoughts and walk towards the side of the building where there is no sunlight and decided to sit there but once he arrived, he noticed a figure laying down on the floor. He seems to be sleeping Asa thought for a moment before sitting down. there is a bit of space between them and only silence surrounds them and the atmosphere was harmonious but the silence was clearly disappeared when the person lying beside him has moved and turned to his side where they make eye contact.

both of them were stunned for a long time, but The person quickly compromised himself and just nod at him. Asa took a long time before returning to normal. "umm hi?" Asa unsurely said the person beside him only nods and looks at him. My god those eyes again why does he keep staring at me like that? Asa thought while not knowing what to do. he glances at him and then glances to his food, he remembered that this person did not go inside the cafeteria so Asa thought he was hungry and was about to offer his food when Levi stood up and was about to go to the door but Asa was a bit faster and held his wrist.

"hey, do you hate me by any chance? why are you leaving again? am I disturbing you?" I asked him while looking at him straight to the face. Levi did not say anything but chose to sit down beside me. Asa sigh and thought that this person seems to hate talking to people so he removes his hand on the other's wrist and just ate his food. He ate his food and his cheek are bulging because of too much food in his mouth and he looks like an eating squirrel, after a while, he feels that someone is staring at him and he looks at his side and sure enough Levi was staring at him again.

He doesn't what to do and asks him confusingly "what?" while drinking his juice,  but the other person just stares at him intently and only said one word "cute" Asa choked on his drink and couch several times. Tears form in his eyes for too much coughing and he looks at Levi again making sure he heard it right. There is a moment of silence in their surroundings it was not like the other silence which is harmonious, this one was awkward and both of them don't know what to do.

The two people are in deep thoughts, one was thinking if he heard the other person right and the other one is confused about why he said such things. Both of them were so preoccupied that they didn't realize the time and were only brought back when they heard an announcement.
