Chapter 11: Injured

They both leave the alley leaving Cole and his friends lying on the ground all injured. Asa worriedly looks at Levi and ask him if he was injured, but the latter only shook his head and instead look at his hand covering his injured stomach.

"clinic," Levi said while walking towards the school building. Asa wants to stop him and tell him that he's okay but Levi did not listen and only continue walking towards the school building. Asa sighed and did not refute anymore following behind Levi. He knows that Levi's walking slowly on purpose because he's injured and that warms up his heart.

when I was in my own world no one really cared if I was injured or not. My colleagues are only worried if I can go to work or not because if not then they will take my shift which only adds up to their usual worktime. So my relationship with them is neutral I might say, they don't hate me but don't care about me. we are more like strangers to another.

We arrived at the clinic and the nurse asks what wrong and I just said I injured my stomach, noticing my pain showing in my face the nurse quickly told me to sit down and ask me to lift up my shirt. I halfway look at Levi but he is only staring at me by the door. I pull up my shirt and you can clearly see the blue bruise standing out in that porcelain skin.

The nurse was shocked for a moment, even Levi stop looking at my face and turn to focus on my stomach. I got embarrassed by the stare of them and urge the nurse to continue, The nurse got back to reality and left the ward to pick up the materials needed to heal my wound.

I finally released a sigh but I still noticed his stare, I look at him and saw his eyes gazing deeply at me, I don't know what to say and I'm quite used to his staring even if we only meet today so I just let it be and told him to sit beside me since he was standing by the door all the time.

The nurse quickly arrived with a tray full of medical materials, I just continue holding up my shirt while she is putting disinfectant in my bruise the afterward covering up with a bandage. The process was fast so we only stay at the clinic for only ten minutes before deciding to go home. 

I still feel the pain but it's tolerable so I just continued to walk to the bus stop Levi quietly followed behind me not saying anything, I didn't mind it because I remember that we came from the same bus stop but I remember that he did not go in the bus right? so I thought and stops. Levi also stops, I looked behind and was met by those eyes. I quickly remove my gaze on him and asks him if he has a car or ha, someone, to pick him up.

Levi shook his head and was about to tell no when a car stops beside us. a person gets out of the car and walks towards Levi. I instantly knew that this is no ordinary family because of their car and the person walking towards us. Levi was still unmoved but then the person arrives at him and told him to get in the car.

Levi was still unmoved and focus his eyes on me. I knew from the start that he is not an ordinary person because if you look at him closely those face doesn't look ordinary at all. I also looked at him and signaled him to go with the person. Levi was still not moving and change his gaze towards my stomach, I quickly got the meaning and told him not to worry about me anymore and just smiles at him.

Levi was dumbstruck for a moment but was quickly disturb by the person urging him to come with him. Levi looks at me again and I just smiled at him again telling him not to worry. He finally gave in and gets in the car but quickly giving me a last look before the car started drifting away.
