Moonwing sat in her cave, her tail curled underneath her. Silversea dashed back with the hunting patrol. They all dropped their prey in the kill pile and sat down to rest, while Silversea padded into the Alpha cave, worried. "Moonwing, I have terrible news." Moonwing jumped to her paws in panic. "What is it?" "Thunder is missin! And the barrier is cracked! What are we goin to do?" "No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no, NO," Moon howled as she paced back and forth in her cave. "He was our best hunter...and our kindest wolf." Silversea whimpered. 'Poor Thunder' she thought. Silversea then walked out of the cave to announce the news to the others. Moonwing sat in the cave, tears starting to run down her face. This couldn't be happening. Not now. Not to Thunderstep.
