"Ohhh, such confident," Serpent Demon said, and immediately, a devilish smirk appeared on his face as his eyes shone intensely.
Kai suddenly sensed danger; as he stood in the air, he made a quick turn and punched the space beside him.

As a mighty explosion ripped through the area, the space around Kai began to ripple and distort. The force of the shockwave caused him to stagger back, his footsteps heavy and his surroundings vibrating with explosive energy.
As Kai was pushed back, a huge black-scaled tail emerged in the air. In no time, the full figure of the tail's owner came into view in the sky.
