Chapter 55: Assassin.
After being left alone, Kai started walking towards the sect mission hall. He walked for twenty minutes before arriving there, and in front of Kai stood a huge tall pagoda of three buildings; at the entrance, Kai saw multiple inner disciples walking in and out of the pagoda.
Kai walked toward the entrance; he realized that there was no gate or door at the entrance, but instead, there was a black portal pulsating gently at the entrance; Kai walked toward the portal as he was used to seeing the portals every in the sect.
He walked directly into the portal; as he emerged on the other side, Kai was greeted by a large hall; the hall stretched out before Kai, its high ceilings supported by ornate pillars, each inscribed with sacred runes and engravings. A soft ambient light fills the space, emanating from intricately designed lanterns; the play of light and shadows create a mystical atmosphere, adding to the sense of sacredness that envelops the mission hall.
