Chapter 27: The true power of the stellar stage {1}

Jinghai's lightning attack struck Kai, and his body convulsed in pain; Kai's mind blanked as the pain became unbearable for him because this was the first time is experiencing the pain of lightning.

Jinhai was standing majestically in the air, looking down at Kai; his face was cold like an emperor, and his anger toward Kai, had not yet been subdued.

Suddenly the gate pattern on kai forehead lit up; inside kai body, all his bones, organs, and blood started undergoing a huge transformation. Jinhai's earlier thunder attack had triggered something in Kai's body.

With the gate pattern shining brightly like a bright star, all the remnants of thunder crackling around Kai's body were instantly absorbed inside his body, tempering every single part of his organs, making them stronger with each passing second.

Kai was unconscious, so he had no idea what was happening within his body, but in his subconscious mind, Kai was in a completely dark space.

Kai opened his eyes and found himself lying on dark water in an unknown space filled with darkness. His mind was fuzzy, so it took him a few seconds to organize his mind.

He stood up and started looking around, but he could only see a meter away from himself, and any further was complete darkness.

"Where is this place?" He muttered to himself, but his voice echoed everywhere in the dark space. He stretched his hand forward, but nothing was there but air.

Kai did not panic because he had learned from his mind that panicking in an unknown situation doesn't solve but instead, keeping the mind calm, stable, and focused is the only way to escape a strange situation.

He closed his eyes, then took a deep breath. Then he opened his eyes and started moving forward. Kai was walking in this darkness with a stable mind; he did not panic but kept moving.

After walking for a long time, that he had no idea of, but it felt like he had been walking for eternity, Kai stopped and looked back, but all he saw was complete darkness, and he felt like he hadn't left the same spot he met himself from the start, even though he had been walking for so long.

Fear of the unknown started to rise from his mind, but he took another deep breath to calm his mind; before he started walking, however, immediately he took a step forward, Kai's view changed.

He saw Jinhai walking in the air towards him, while he folded both his hand behind his back, he had a cold expression, and the golden light around his body was denser than before.

Kai was confused and had no idea what Was going on, but looking at the coming Jinhai, Kai knew he had to stand up and fight because the current angry Jinhai won't hesitate to kill him now.

Kai frowned; he decided to stand up, thinking that doing that would be difficult considering his previous fatigue; however, the moment he pushed himself up, he felt different.

He felt a vast amount of energy running through his veins, all his bones were more sturdy than ever, and his blood was boiling than ever; in general, he felt reborn.

Kai was surprised again, and he immediately directed his sense inside his body, and what he saw left him speechless. He saw his bone completely in violet color, with multiple star images shining on it; his blood now had violet color, and Kai could feel vast vitality in it.

After feeling how powerful he had become, Kai raised his head and looked at Jinghai; upon seeing how he was acting like an emperor, a smile appeared on Kai's face, although he had no idea what had happened to him while he was unconscious. He wasn't willing to think about it for now because what was on his mind now was how to beat the fuck out of Jinhai's life.

Jinhai also stopped his advancement and frowned when he saw a smile on Kai's face; in his mind, he viewed Kai as a worthy opponent, so he wasn't willing to underestimate him.

"You really are persistent; even after getting beaten, you can still stand up," Jinhia commented while nodding his head at Kai.

"of course, you see, I have a strong body; however, I don't know if I should thank you or not because, with your help, I managed to push my body to another stage entirely, even though I don't know how strong I am now," Kai said, and he clenched his fist hard enough for a crackling sound to occur.

"Ohh, you seem confident now," Jinhai replied arrogantly.

"of course, you see, I was born without any cultivation talent, so I had to depend on this body of mine, and to do that, I'm sure you can imagine the type of hardship I had to go through to get this body to this stage," Kai replied with a helpless sigh.

"Hmm, it doesn't matter to me because everyone who had disrespected me had been killed with my hand, and you won't be an exception; however, out of everyone who has been killed, you are the only one who gained my respect; therefore I will grant you a quick death," Jinhai replied still in his arrogant pose.

"Well, let heaven decide our fate today," Kai said coldly before he took a heavy step forward and charged toward Jinhai without controlling any energy; he was planning to fight Jinhai only with his physical body because he wanted to test his new power.

Jinhai also did not think twice before charging toward Kai because he could feel a heavy pressure from Kai now.

Both attacked each other with a powerful punch, and immediately both punches collided; a loud resounding explosion rang out, and the ground beneath them suffered a tremendous stress and strain; the surrounding landscape ruptured, with chunks of earth and debris sent flying through the air.
