As Kai, Xin Yi, and Cheng exited the auction house, they sensed a plethora of hidden gazes fixed upon them.
Kai shrugged nonchalantly before continuing toward the restaurant they had rented for the day.
"It seems we've garnered quite a few enemies," Cheng complained with an indifferent tone, sipping his wine as he followed Kai.
"When have you ever been afraid of trouble?" Kai retorted.
"I don't mind trouble, but being with you seems to attract an extraordinary amount of it. You're like a trouble magnet," Xin Yi chimed in, skipping to keep up with Kai.
"It's inevitable," Kai sighed heavily.
