At the same time in the forest that they left behind two figures could be seen walking towards a cliff. It was the same boy and girl they met in the day but now they look a bit more mature af if they were in their early twenties not the teenagers they looked like before.

" What do you think about her? " Jude asked her brother

" Interesting, she is better suited to rule than that idiot over there. " Jonah replied casually

She raised her eyebrows " If you think like that, why did you not offer to help? "

" She is good but right now is not a good time. "

" What do you mean by that? Can you not confuse me? Just say good or not are you going to help her or not, don't beat around the bush. " Jude said angrily

Crystal was looking out of the window beside him while Elina who was behind her had her eyes closed and was leaning on the seat.

" So Eli what are we doing after seeing your uncle? " Crystal asked

" We are going to Northern Mountains. " Elina said

" Northern Mountains!! Isn't that a strong hold of rebels? Back there in my pack it was said that everyone living there is a ferocious monsters. " Lukas said

" What!! That is just a rumor. Most of them are people who are exiled by the King and Queen. So at most they are criminals with varying charges. "

Crystal exclaimed

" Some are not even criminals there. " Elina spoke right now she was looking out of the window

" Some are falsely charged just because The King and Queen did not like them. "

" Are you talking about Marcus? " Crystal asked hesitantly

" Yes " Saying this Elina closed her eyes again

' Who is Marcus? ' Lukas asked Crystal through mind link.

' He was Elina's caretaker but later The Queen changed him with some crime. I don't know the details it's just that he was also exiled to Northern Mountains '

' I see ' Right now Lukas feels like there is no good person in Royal family then he looked back at Elina and thought except her.

Elina was thinking about the time when she was still a little girl. It was the day of her mother's funeral.

A little girl was sitting beside a huge window. The room was enormous but it was empty. The little girl was alone, she had long silver hairs and beautiful blue eyes but her eyes were red and swollen right now.

" Your Highness you should change "

A voice broke the deafening silence. The girl looked behind her she saw a maid walking towards her.

" Stop " The little girl said.

Hearing the command in the voice the maid stopped even if she felt unwilling.

" Who allowed you to come in? Get out and send Marcus in I want to see him immediately. " The little girl stood up and said coldly

" I...Your Highness... you see.." The maid started stuttering which irritated the little girl further.

" Just send Marcus in. I am not interested in whatever you have to say " Saying she turned around to sit back.

" Your Highness....he...he can't come. "

The girl looked back at her, even if she was young her blood hold power others doesn't and right now she was angry the power was humming so loud the pressure made the maid fell on the ground.

" Why can't he come? Where is he? I will give you one chance to answer my question. "

The maid was scared even if she knew that Queen wants this Princess Elina dead there is nothing they could do right now. So she answered truthfully " The Royal guards came to arrest him. He went against The Queen and was sent to dungeons. He is going to be send to Northern Mountains. "

Elina had no mood to hear the maid and directly ran out of her room. She could hear people calling her but she didn't care. She ran all the way to dungeons she knew that the guards would never let her in. So she turned into her wolf and sneaked in. Normally they would turn into wolves on their thirteenth birthday but she turned when she was ten except her mother and Marcus nobody knew.

She followed his smell and came to innermost part of the dungeon. There were only 5 cells here. It was dark, gloomy and damp. She saw that Marcus was unconscious, he was badly injured and was chained to walls. There was no other person here. So using her powers she got in and started to heal him.

" Your...Highness...stop I am fine. " He said as soon as he woke up.

" No Marcus it will only take a little time believe me you will be fine. "

" Your Highness listen to me. It will only be worse if you heal me. "

Hearing this Elina's hands trembled and she stopped she has already healed his internal injury what was left was just skin injury so she looked at him " Are you going to leave me too? "

Marcus smiled " Your Highness I am not leaving you, I am just going away for some time. "

" Stop treating me like a kid. " She wiped her tears she will not cry. " I promise you that I will get you out of there. I can't do anything right now but soon I will come to get you back. Okay. "

Marcus was surprised to see the determination on her face, he did not realize when the little girl grew up so much " Your Highness I will wait for you. But you have to promise me that you will look after yourself and will not risk your life to save mine. "

" I promise " Elina tried to give him a smile but only she knew how much she wanted to cry.

" Go back Your Highness don't let anyone find you. " He smiled at her but he knew very well that it is a high chance that he is seeing her for the last time. But he did not want her to lose hope so he promised without even knowing if he could keep it.

Elina held his gaze for a while " Wait for me Marcus. I will definitely come for you."

Seeing him nodding his head she slowly turned into her wolf and went out, she took one last look at him and ran away. But there was only one thought in her mind.

" Eli....Eli wake up "

Her eyes flew open she saw it was already dark and they were in a town.

" Where are we ? " Elina asked while looking out of the window

" It is a town called Willow " Crystal said " Let's stay here tonight "

" Find a diner first. " Elina said

" OK Luke over there. "

" Yes, yes calm down "

Elina looked out of her window and kept thinking about Marcus. You have to be alive and well Marcus. I will soon be there.
