Chapter 1

It was midnight and the entire forest was shrouded in darkness it was so still that you can hear the wind passing by. Suddenly a sound came and a huge white wolf jumped broke out of nowhere. It was beautiful with blue eyes and would have been a feast to eye if it was not covered entirely in blood. There were many claw marks on its pelt which looked gruesome.

The wolf looked like it doesn't care as if the wounds were not its own and kept running deeper inside the forest. Behind the wolf there were few more wolves who kept chasing it. The ferocious expression on their faces was simply saying that they would not let the wolf go.

The white wolf was losing its energy quickly and it knew that a fight was inevitable and escape was nearly impossible but it was not willing to die. Keep running or turn around to fight it was contemplating when suddenly a brown wolf from behind jumped on it due to its quick reflex though he dodged it but was now surrounded by the other ones.

The entire forest was filled with growling sounds. The white wolf smirked in its head ' Fight it is '. It jumped on the nearest wolf and teared it apart in one attempt. Even if it was weak it won't die easily. The white wolf looked at the other wolves with contempt and growled slowly. But that simple growl instilled fear in their hearts they also knew that if the white wolf was at its peak, then were long dead but it was gravely injured so they looked at each other and attacked it together. The white wolf was ready for them and a fierce fight broke out. More gashes could be seen on the white wolf but it still looked indifferent it threw the brown wolf on a tree 10 meters away and clawed another. The rest were still attacking it even with injuries they did not stop. One tried to attack the white wolf's eye but was bitten to death instead. The rest were really scared right now but there was no going back they again jumped on it but soon only their dead bodies were left.

The white wolf slumped to the ground and slowly turned into a beautiful girl. Just like her wolf she had blue eyes and white hair. She was completely exhausted and did not even have the strength to move a inch. Elina smiled ' Lizzy don't take all the pain. I can bear it.' Lizzy was her wolf. In return she heard her growl and a ' Shut Up '. 'There is really no talking to a grumpy wolf. Well then' She heard no response but that did not stop her from talking after all she was in a deadly silent forest with blood and gore. ' Say Liz will they send more people. How long will it take me to move I really don't want to be caught in this situation. ' She laughed thinking like that but that laugh brought intense pain to her sides.' Bloody he'll I broke my ribs, it's gonna take longer.' 'Serves you right.' Elina could hear her wolf being smug, she huffed ' Come on Liz you should comf...' Her voice broke because she heard a sound and immediately looked up to see the wolf which she threw on the tree has stood up.

Even though the wolf was weak it still had the strength to kill Elina. Elina gritted her teeth and tried to stand up she knew if she does not want to die she has to fight. A voice rang in her head 'Elina you can't you are not..' She cut off her connection with her wolf, this was her fight and she would not let her wolf get any more injured than it already was. That wolf looked like it was laughing on her weak attempt as it could already see its victory. The wolf jumped on Elina but before Elina could do anything another fiery red wolf jumped from somewhere inside the forest and killed the wolf with one claw.

It was quiet again. Both the red wolf and Elina looked at each other. Elina slowly let go of her fists and started to fall again but then a pair of slender hands caught her. She looked up to see a beautiful red haired girl whose face was filled with worry and pain tears were streaming out of her eyes. And a choked voice came " Eli I am sorry I am late. "

Elina sighed " It's not about whether you are late the point is that you should not be here. I am already considered a traitor and a rogue and...." saying this she started coughing. " Alright alright stop preaching I already broke off my relationship with them. No matter what happens I can't leave my best friend to die. Also it took me hours to find you so at least praise my efforts." The red haired girl smiled and joked while patting Elina's back." What... Crystal.. you shouldn't " Elina nothing but shouted. Which brought another round of coughs. " You really are not in good condition. Let's first find a place to hide there would be more coming. We will need energy to fight." Saying Crystal took Elina on her back and started walking.

" Is there is no way I can convince you to go back"

" No it's final "

" You are so stubborn but I am glad we are friends and you are here. Tell me do I sound to you selfish "

" If I was in your place would you leave me? "

" Absolutely not "

" That's good to hear and you are not selfish because I would want the same. Especially in this forest don't you think it's creepy here. "

Saying this both of them laughed . Suddenly the forest became less scary for Elina. She thought ' So what if I have lost everything I still have someone whom I can give my back. As for those things I will get it back sooner or later. " She was lost in her thoughts in her when she heard Crystal speaking again " Look there is a cave it is good enough for tonight. It is not hidden so we have to leave tomorrow." She helped Elina sit beside a Boulder and went to look for some food. Soon she came back carrying a rabbits and leaves for fire.

A fire was lit and rabbits were being baked.

" Guess it is not to bad. What do you think Elina?"

" As long as your food does not kill me I am good."

"Ha won't that be ironic escaped the pursuit of those wolves but died in your own hands. "

"Shut up and give me something to eat. " Elina was throughly annoyed by her ' This girl will never realize the seriousness of a situation. ' She thought. But all she heard was laughter. And the rabbits were brought to her.

" So what do you think it does not taste bad does it. "

" No it is good I didn't knew you had this talent too. "

" That's good go ahead and rest after you finish eating. " Saying she stood up and walked towards the entrance of the cave.

" Alright good night Crystal. "

" Good night Eli. "
