Chapter 29 : Escape

"Wait Penelope i agree to your deal so let them go i beg you" Damien said

"now why should i do that ?" she asked smiling

"after all i was meant to capture all of you"she replied as she bent down looking at Damien as he became speechless they had plainly walked into the trap and to think that their decision would have lightened the situation now they where all trapped here . Looking at their situation Damien decided to use one of his spell which he hadn't fully mastered ot was a high born rated spell as it could transport anyone anywhere within a specified range but thd only problem with the spell was that since he hadn't mastered the spell his range depended on the number of people he was teleporting and besides that his range was still minimal so he could only send at least four people to the border of the central coast and if he wanted to send everyone it was going to reduce his range so that also meant he would have to stay back to create a distraction. Going over his plan in his head Damien smiled as he looked at Penelope

"you on Penelope" he said as he looked down "yo el manazas" he said as eight purple portals opened right under everyone who he wanted gone transporting them towards the border of the coast shocking all of them

"what just happened where is Damien?" Amelia asked looking everywhere for her son but didn't find him

"Damien did this he gave us a chance come on we have to go" Alex said getting Damien's motive for the teleportation spell

"what we can't leave him behind they would kill him we have to go back for him" Natasha said as she attempted going back

"Natasha we can't you of all people are meant to get Damien's motive for this now we have to go we would comr back for him when we are fully prepared don't make his mom more sad than she already is " Alex said trying to convince her

"but fine " she said as she turned back

"what of my son we can't leave him there " Amelia said

"mrs salvatore we would go back for him but first we need back up and we don't have enough men to take on their army and if we dont leave right now they are going to come and capture us and your sons effort to get us out would be in vain so please come with us "Natasha said as she and the other left with Damien's mother.

After Damien had teleported the others he raised his hands as a huge lightning bolt dropped from the sky as it blasted the demon General that held him to the ground. standing up Damien felt lightheaded which he had never felt before as he had used most of his energy to transport eight people to a far place but still he had to create a distraction, he clapped his hands making a massive wind blow as it sent most of the soldiers flying back as he created a huge ball of water making it form two water swords before he froze it he leapt towards Penelope as he aimed for jer head but before he could strike he felt a massive surge of energy hit him as he lost consciousness.

Natasha and the others had already gotten outside the coast as they approached Trident dynasty

"we can't travel fast on foot we are going to need a horse"a soldier stated the obvious

"we know but there is nothing left on me that i could offer for eight horses" Alex said walking past him

"Natasha do you have anything on you?" Alex asked

"only my necklace and i can't give it up" she said holding the necklace close to her

"wait i have this" she said as she handed Alex a yellow fabric which would be quite enough

"why would a stable owner want a fabric?" Alex asked holding the cloth

"i don't know it should be enough to get the horses at least" she said as they walked into Trident dynasty

"let me have that" Amelia said as she held out her hands making Alex hand the fabric to her. she felt its texture and quality as they headed into thd market

Amelia walked towards a fabric store as she threw the cloth round her neck

"hello how may i help you" the lady asked she was the owner of the store

"well i was hoping to buy a fabric " Amelia answered as she felt the material around the store tryong to see if the lady owned one like the fabric on her

"ow well you can find the one you like" the lady answered as she stared at the fabric Amelia had

"well there isn't it's not your store it just that ever since i had a fabric like this i just looked for mire and now i have over ten more fabric like this" Amelia said touching the fabric

"ow yeah i know it is original and very high priced" she said smiling at Amelia

"if you have ten more at home why don't you sell me this one it will help others who don't have one" she added smiling at Amelia

"ah no i came to buy not sell my own" Amelia said as she smiled

"ow no you can sell for me i beg you" she said

"ha fine i would guve you for cheap lets say thirty thousand gold" Amelia said

"yes yes here" she said counting the money and handing it to Amelia who in turn handed the fabric to the seller before walking away as she went to Alex and gave him the money .

Alex and the others had been watching Amelia as they saw her bargaining tactics they were suprised at how she had made the lady want the fabric

"no wonder Damien's a genius it runs in the family" Alex said as she gave him the bag

"how did you do that?" Natasha asked Amelia as they headed towards a stable

"it is simple royalties and high borns think that they are smarter than a lowborn and whatever they do they always outsmart us so all you do is make sure they fell like they are outsmarting you and then you would get what you want" she said as they entered the stables

"ow wow that is nice" Natasha said getting the message Amelia had passed
