Might of the Wargod

Ci Clan territory was heavily guarded. It seemed like a military base with lots of guard patrolling from time to time. There were even guard from the City Alliance Army. Given their situation, it was something quite expected.

In front of the large metal gate leading to the Ci Clan territory, Mays stood alone beside his black horse. He was eyeing the surrounding area.

"What... do... you... want... human?"

A robotic voice asked him with a monotone.

Mays was quite shocked when he saw the mechanism in front of him. It was an automaton. He knew about these things since they were also available back in HeavensTale. They were just mid-tier equipment around level fifty. They were mainly used as training dummies.

As their shape varies, Mays was not shocked by the appearance of the automation in front of him which looked like a human but had six hands. It was bronze in color and it moved with slight pause like a machine.

"I wanna meet Lord Cipan."

Mays still answered the automaton. He never planned to just barge in if possible. But of course, he wouldn't mind doing so if they ignored his request.

"That... is... not... possible… only... authorized... personnel... can… meet... the... lord… guards!"

The automaton shouted for guards' right after. Mays was surrounded in less than ten seconds. There were a total of twenty guards which currently surrounding Mays in two layer of circles.

"Well well, what do we have here? A lost little lamb."

A stout middle aged man soon came out after the Ci Clan territory gate were opened. He led five people behind him, everyone with the strength of a silver ranked fighter. He wore a wicked smile as he walked toward Mays.

"I want to..."

"The lord don't have time to waste with kids who still wets their bed. Scram now or your life is forfeit!"

Mays was not allowed to even finish his line. That middle aged man practically shouted at Mays as he didn't want to waste time dealing with this kid with unknown origin.

In his eyes, Mays was just a young man who didn't know how vast the world was. People in this world couldn't measure other's strength after all.

After Mays spent some time with Miur and the rest, Mays knew most of the basic knowledge of the world. The most shocking information he heard was that a gold ranked human fighter could live up to one thousand years old thanks to their powerful body and spirits.

As for silver ranked fighter, they could only live up to five hundred years old while bronze ranked fighter had the same life expectancy as normal humans.

As for monsters, either beast type or humanoid type had long lifespan. Mainly because it was harder for them to rank up, they had longer life and breed faster compared to human.

These silver ranked human in front of Mays had lived longer than hundred years. That alone was enough reason for these arrogant people to look down on the younger generation.

"So, you guys won't let me meet him no matter what?"

Mays asked for confirmation.

"You are still here? Then don't blame us for not showing any mercy. Guards! Send him away!"

All the guards acted together after receiving their order. The first layer of guards stroked their lance toward Mays without hesitation.

"Heh."

Mays let out a small sigh. This world felt so repetitive to him. Everyone thought they were the big shot and tried to mess with him. Every single time. Of course they were the one getting destroyed in the end.

"Sword Spirit!"

It was just a small area, just around one hundred meters in radius. The sky within that region suddenly turned black. From the seemingly space distortion at that area, hundreds of spirit sword rained down toward the earth.

The force behind each sword were earth shattering. Each sword which landed on the earth left a crater one after another. In a brief period of five seconds, the plain ground turned into shattered earths. The guards which surrounded Mays were all decimated within seconds.

This was the first time Mays took a life here in this world. He felt nothing even after that. True that back on earth he never killed anyone else but he killed dangerous animals on occasions. The feeling was pretty much the same to the current him.

If beating people severely was still not enough to show off his might, he had no other choice than to kill everything and everyone blocking his path. If this was the only way then so be it. He felt nothing after killing these kind of people anyways.

Those silver ranked fighter who acted high and mighty from before were all dumbfounded and frozen on the spot. Never had they witnessed something that grand in their entire life. They knew that a silver ranked fighter wouldn't be able to do so.

"What about you guys? Feel like calling Cipan for me yet?"

Mays asked with a threatening tone. All those silver ranked fighter trembled in fear when they heard Mays's voice.

They all knew deep within their heart that they were not an opponent for this young man in front of them. In their eyes, Mays would at least be a gold ranked fighter, an existence they couldn't anger at all cost.

"Yes yes right away. Please follow us to our guest room oh esteemed young master."

One of them immediately replied. His voice was shaky due to fear. He tried his best to hide it though. Mays didn't seemed to mind at all as he followed these people into the Ci Clan territory.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Len, Miur, Nova and Aria were at loss of what to do. They were bothered by the reckless action Mays's did but they didn't worry about him considering how strong he was. They thought of going to Ci Clan territory to seek Mays but decided not to because they might be a burden instead.

They were outside of the inn they were lodged, the exact same place where Mays injured dozens of soldiers previously. The aftermath of the battle was still present but the inn worker were working on clearing it. Those heavily injured soldiers had already left the scene while supporting each other.

"Excuse me ladies and gentleman, can any of you please tell me what just happened here?"

A handsome young man who was passing by asked. He was accompanied by a female warrior and a male scholar. This guy was Merle, the young master of Mercenary Guild.

Due to some luck, he ended up here in front of the inn where the battle between Mays and those soldier took place several hours ago.

Merle knew that a small scale battle had just happened. At the moment, none of the injured soldiers were present. Even the scattered body parts were already taken care of. The only visible proof which confirmed that a battle had finished here was the stench of blood and the wide area of protruding earth cone around the perimeter.

What he wanted to know the most was which party were involved in this fight and who was the one who casted the earth magic which changed the road into this state. Merle knew that someone who could cast this kind of spell would at least be a silver ranked caster for sure.

Len and the rest of the party didn't know who this handsome guy was. They stared at each other and said nothing to Merle.

"It's okay. I know that those people causing trouble here was from the Ci Clan. I just want to know who the other party is. By the way, I am not from the Ci Clan nor the Alliance Army so you guys can relax."

As if he could read their minds, Merle started explaining his circumstances to these people. He even told them that he was from the Mercenary Alliance. Only after Merle took out his Mercenary Alliance member badge that Len and the others let their guards down.

"Sorry for acting like this."

Len apologized.

"Nah it's okay. I would do the same if I was in your shoes too."

Merle brushed it off as if it were nothing. He was a righteous person all right. After that, Len started talking about the event which happened earlier. Merle just nodded as he listened to the whole story. Merle was an easy going guy. He was easy to get along with.

With him belonged to the Mercenary Alliance which were famous throughout Mercia Kingdom, befriending someone like him was a good plus. Even Len and the other from RiverMug had heard of Mercenary Alliance prior to this.

"So, this friend of yours already gone to Ci Clan all by himself? Intriguing indeed."

Merle asked for confirmation. He just couldn't hold his excitement as it was clearly shown on his face.

"Yeah. We are planning to go there too."

Len replied while Miur, Aria and Nova all nodded.

"Then, lets us go there with haste. I'll escort you guys."

"Really? Thank you so much."

With people from Mercenary Alliance as their escort, even the Ci Clan would think twice before attacking them. This surely was a blessing for Len and the rest as they could look for Mays without worry.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lord Cipan who was at wits end decided to go see Mays in person. He was not a fool as he also brought the guardian ancestor of Ci Clan with him. The guardian Ancestor of Ci Clan was a gold ranked humanoid monster. A four armed tigerape.

Mays was also surprised at the fact that this tigerape was a boss class monster. The moment they entered the guest room, this tigerape let out its domineering aura showing its supremacy over everyone present inside the room.

"Whoa, you withstand my aura. What's your name, human?"

"Mays. And who might you be?"

Mays answered nonchalantly. He never met Cipan so he didn't know which one out of these two was him.

"I'm Rimau Kong. The guardian ancestor of the Ci Clan, sworn brother of the Ci Clan's founder."

No wonder the Ci Clan could flourish for a long time. They had a gold ranked humanoid beast as their pillar. The other faction might not even had one gold ranked fighter on their side at all.

"Ah okay. This had nothing to do with you though. I only have some matters to settle with that guy over there, Cipan."

Mays clearly said his intention out loud. His motto was plain simple. Kill those who messed with him. Mays walked toward Cipan but Rimau Kong blocked his way.

"No can do. He is the current leader of Ci Clan. I won't allow you to do anything to him."

Prior to this, Cipan already fabricated a story about Mays and told it to Rimau Kong. He clearly said that Mays was not someone who could be reasoned with.

"I've told you lord guardian. This man listens to no one."

Cipan grinned as he saw the current situation unfold. His only worry was that Rimau Kong found out the truth about his lies. He was relieved when Mays actually acted the way he was described. This resulted in Rimau Kong blocking Mays himself.

"You leave me with no choice, human!"

Rimau Kong threw a heavy punch at Mays using all four of his arm. Mays couldn't evade in time as the distance between the two of them were too close. Using both his hand, he made a defensive stance as he took all the punches head on.

Mays knew Rimau Kong was a gold ranked humanoid monster thanks to his ring. That alone was not enough as he was also categorized in the same category, gold ranks. He needed to know what tier this tigerape in front of him was.

Even in the same categories, the strength varies depends on their level. Back in HeavensTale, this could easily be determined by just checking the level. A level seventy seven gold ranked fighter obviously was way weaker compared to one that was on level ninety nine.

Not to mention even boss class monster were divided into three category. Normal, intermediate and insane. Rimau Kong was just the lowest type of boss monster, the normal type. He was way weaker compared to any of Mays's summoned spirit.

"Hahahahha serves you right!"

As he saw Mays was sent flying straight through the wall, Cipan laughed. He knew that the guardian ancestor was without match in this city. That was the main reason why he asked for his help before coming to meet Mays.

"Maaaan… That hurts!"

Mays stood amidst all the rubble of the broken wall. He was dusting off his clothes as if that was the only problem he had. Both Cipan and Rimau Kong were looking at him without blinking. They noticed that despite being blown away, he suffered no injuries at all from the previous attack.

Rimau Kong did held back earlier as he never used his full power against some nobody. He was a gold ranked humanoid monster after all.

"You are one talented human. Not many young human withstood my attack easily as you. But prepare yourself as the me right now ain't planning on holding back!"

"Beast Boost!"

Tigerape was a humanoid monster. They were the variant of the redape species. Normal redape had red fur enveloping their entire body while tigerape had stripped tiger like fur. [Beast Boost] was a common skill humanoid monster had. It was basically a buff which enhanced all their stats considerably. On the outside, even their physical body was enlarged quite a bit.

Rimau Kong leapt forward after its transformation was done. It didn't even take one second for him to appear in front of Mays. Without wasting any second, barrage of punches rained down on Mays without pause. The speed and strength of each punch this time was obviously faster and stronger than before.

"Kruuuuuuuuuuuuuaggg! Krug! Krug!"

Rubbles were sent flying everywhere as the Ci Clan main building was being blasted as a result from the rampaging Rimau Kong. With a slight pause, Rimau Kong holds one of his arm before he threw a final punch at Mays.

That last attack was so powerful that the whole building crumbled right after. Mays who took the attack head on was sent flying several meters away from the collapsed building. Cipan sighed as he saw the grand main building of their Ci Clan were reduced into rubbles in an instant.

"That should take care of it."

Rimau Kong's size changed back to normal after the time for his buff was up. He did go all out earlier, giving the young human no chance of escaping or striking back. He was a veteran for sure. He knew that going easy on someone never resulted in anything good.

Since the main building suddenly collapsed, almost every member of the Ci Clan rushed toward the area to figure out what just happened. They were in awe as they saw their guardian ancestor together with their lord, Cipan. It was rare for the guardian ancestor to show his face after all.

Cipan walked toward the direction where Mays was sent flying. He wanted to verify the dead body with his very own eyes. Someone this strong would definitely spells trouble if he was left alive.

"Get back!!!"

Rimau Kong shouted. He was totally alarmed. Cipan who just heard the shout immediately leapt away from his current location. He saw a blurry figure moved toward him but his eyes couldn't follow the speed of that figure.

"Save me guardiaarrghhh!!"

Cipan couldn't even finished his last word when he was sliced into two by Mays. Currently, Mays was surrounded by a shiny glowing blue aura. It was swordsman speed buff skills, the [Galloping Panther]. His attack speed and movement speed was enhanced drastically when this skill was activated.

"Man, this is insane. I barely could keep up with my current speed."

Mays was totally astonished with his current speed after he activated his buff skill. It felt like he was riding the wind itself, moving at a speed close enough to the speed of light. He didn't even care about Cipan anymore. He didn't even bothered to check who the guy he just killed was.

Without any care of his surrounding, Mays slashed the empty air around him as he tried to familiarize himself with his buffed condition. At the same time, Rimau Kong already leapt toward Mays with haste. His eyes were red with anger.

"You killed Cipan. You're going to pay for this!"

At this time, Rimau Kong already lost all rationality. If he kept a clear mind, he would realize that he was not a match for Mays. But after the current Ci Clan's lord killed right in front of his eyes, he couldn't even be bothered to think as he rushed toward Mays with killing intent.

"Screech!"

"Eh? What happened?"

Rimau Kong was totally lost. He didn't even knew what hit him. He just heard a loud piercing sound and he felt tremendous pain. He tried moving his body but it wouldn't listen. He looked in front of him and he saw his legs and arms on the ground. Dismembered.

One clean cut straight through his chest. He couldn't even react. Now he realized how foolish he was to even try fighting this person. Their power level were just worlds apart. As his eyes slowly closing, his long life finally come to an end.

"Meh, he ain't even an intermediate boss class, a low level gold ranker even. What a bummer."

Mays snorted as he walked away from where he stood. He planned to get some fun but he was disappointed right after he started. Normal boss was just that weak after all. They were only around five time stronger than normal monster.

"Noooo!"

"The Guardian Ancestor was killed!"

"The Ci Clan is finished!"

"Run for your lives!!"

An uproar broke out soon after the guardian ancestor died. He was the strongest person in the Ci Clan after all. With him killed, the future of the Ci Clan would be bleak. Almost every member of the Ci Clan ran away from the scene as fast as they could. To them, Mays's appearance was the same as a wargod, killing everyone as he pleased.

Len and the rest of the group arrived at Ci Clan territory right after the chaos started. Merle and both his attendant were also present together with them. They immediately rushed inside as they heard the uproar even from the outside of the area.

They were all stunned when they saw the scene with their own eyes.

"Holy god, what the hell happened here?"

The main building of Ci Clan was nowhere in sight. Only its ruins remained. Rubbles were everywhere with craters all over the vicinity. Nobody could have guessed what just happened here.

If someone were told that everything was a result from a duel between two people, they wouldn't believe it for sure. That was how tremendous the battle damage inflicted at the area.

"Oh you guys came already. Let's move on to the capital then."

Mays who saw Len and the rest immediately walked toward then and casually chatted with them.

"Ahh... yea. Let's go."

Len replied with a wry smile and they all moved away from the Ci Clan territory without anyone obstructing their path right away.
