A Letter to a Friend

Dear Master Sigmund Vaughn Winters

I hope this letter finds you well, old friend. It has been some time since I have last heard from you, but I am aware you are one of import and have many duties to perform, as am I. Forgive me for only thanking you this late after your last letter, but the winter season has gotten the best of all of us.

Nevertheless, this letter is meant to detail you on your last point of interest we had discussed. Your inquiries were correct after all, and now we make haste towards Warden's Keep. It may seem that I have found myself in good company with the new recruits for the Wardens of the Flame. Many of which, I feel, have the potential to turn the tides of this war and perhaps even change the fate of the world forever. Perhaps that may be an overstatement and what can a single person truly do to change something of this magnitude; however, something lies within their opportunistic souls, I have yet to grasp. As you said yourself, you saw them to be special as well… To what extent is merely the unanswered question. But I suppose only time will tell…

Please do visit or perhaps even send a letter when it does not inconvenience you. I am sure the underlings would love to hear about your vast wisdom and knowledge of the arcane arts. I know Girlesk would certainly love that.

Sincerely,

Second Captain of Wardens Sect. 9
