War On Life

Beginning

Beginning-

On the planet of kai there lies a great king and his empire, the King of this empire was named kai and he was currently pacing around wearing a worried expression.

His wife was in labor and giving birth to his child who he proclaimed to his people to be the next heir to his kingdom.

Feeling powerless in not being able to do anything for his wife he sat down in his chair and tapped his chair in an irritated manner while waiting for the news.

My king!!

A voice could be heard as a door was opened, revealing a woman wearing the attire of most of the maids who lived to serve the king.

My king! It's… it-

Spit it out!! Did something happen!?

Ah! My lord, I'm sorry for worrying you, but I have great news. You have twins, two boys.

Twins! Hahaha this is amazing, hurry I have to see them

Entering the room the first thing the king saw was his tired wife lying on the bed with sweat rolling down her face looking as if she just got out of fighting for her life

Niyah! Are- are you ok? Is there anything wrong, what can I do!?

Brushing her soft gentle hands across her husbands face she said, " kai, you always worry so much I'm alright I just need a little-"

Before being able to finish her sentence her eyes closed, seeming to have fallen into a deep slumber

NIYA!

My lord! One of the maidens who helped with the delivery began to speak. "My lord, there's no need to worry It seems she's just fallen unconscious due to over-exhaustion."

Still worried, the king sighed and turned his attention to his two sons who had just been born. Making his way to his sons he carried them both in his hands and looked at them with the fondness any father would have at this moment.

Looking at them he noticed that although twins had different facial features, for example, the son whom he carried in his right arm had blue/ blackish hair while his other son had fiery red hair like him and his father who had long disappeared many years ago.

Father….

*sigh

Directing his attention back to his sons, he looked at his son that he carried in his right arm and said, "kami" then proceeded to do the same thing for his other son naming him "Agni"

These will be your names,Agni, and kami.

Not even able to enjoy the moment of his sons being born, he was greeted with an explosion that shook the current room he was in.

Ahhhhh

Help us!!!!

Screams from the people could be heard outside, the screams of these helpless people could be heard overlapping each other.

My king! Someone has invaded us, they've destroyed our signals somehow so we weren't able to detect them entering the atmosphere of the planet and they've launched a large scale attack on the main city. The army is already fighting against them but we need you NOW!

Taking one last glance at his unconscious wife and two newborn sons, he gave Agni and kami to his maids and ordered them to stay here until he returned. Before leaving he ordered three of his guards to place protection arrays around the area to keep them safe.

Running madly to where the screams were coming from, he pushed open the door leading to the outside only to find what could only be seen in a horror movie.

The smell of blood quickly entered his nose, piles of bodies stacked amongst the streets, and destroyed buildings.
