CHAPTER 16 - Aurora

After a few very long and painful seconds of Leo staring at me intensely with his same old smirk on his face with that "I win" look on his face. Sofia and Raquel left the room to let me and Leo speak in private.

They left and closed and the door, the room was silent for a moment. Leo stood a few metres away from me with his arms folded proud of his little victory. Before he could say anything I decided to bruise it.

"Don't say, "I knew you were still in love with me" or "I told you so" ... Okay, Please.. Just don't."

"I didn't say anything." Leo spoke staring at me.

"I know what your thinking." I said sitting down on the bed in a low voice but Leo still made out what I said

"So I guess I won huh". Leo said sitting down beside me.

I laughed a small bit... "Yeah Leo, you've won this little game of ours."

"And you talked such a big game". Leo mocked chuckling.

"I know". I said embarrassed,It's true I talked such a big game to Leo and I was a bit of a brat.. And a tad bitchy aswell but it is what it is.

"So your still in love with me.. After all these years?" Leo asked.

I looked up from the ground expecting to see a smirk displayed in Leo's face but there was nothing.. He was simply looking at me.

"I will always be in love with you Leo, I think I've always known that, but I wanted to prove to you that I wasn't because for a bit I thought I was.... but Then you kissed me and I fell straight into your arms again...and were being so arrogant and confident about it and I just wanted to prove you wrong.. for once."

"And if one day I do manage to get over you... I think there will always be a part of me that will always love you." There was silence in the room for a moment.

"I'm sorry about the kiss.. I admit I shouldn't have done that, and I'm sorry for being my arrogant and confident self." Leo said laughing at the end of the sentance.

"Stop!"I laughed.

When we settled down I wondered why Leo was even by my door when I was talking. I know his bedroom is next door but he went to discuss Buissness with the others when I left him.

"Why were you leaning against my doorway anyway?" I asked genuinely interested.

"I came to tell you that we have to go to dinner with Damon and his son tomorrow night.. To continue persuading him that we're dating before the ball."

"Really?, I was supposed to be spending time with Raquel and Sofia for the weekend." I said pissed off. Why can't this Damon guy fuck off and leave us alone and admit the fact that our mafia is better, like big deal.. Just Deal with it.

"There staying for a few more days, Elijah and Felix wanna help more."Leo explained.

" That's good". I said while remembering the way I spoke to them a while ago.

"I was a bitch to them wasn't I?"I asked gliding my hands through my hair.

"Yeah.. Kind of". Leo said in a low voice.

"Shit". I mumbled. I got up from my bed and went to the door. I turned around to face Leo before leaving the room to find Sofia and Raquel.

"Thanks for listening to me Leo, and thank you for not saying I told you so." I smiled grateful for that.

"It's no big deal Aurora." Leo said looking at me. I gave him one last smile before leaving to find the girls. I found them in the kitchen eating.

I walked up to them "I'm sorry about earlier, that was way over the line, I'm so sorry guys". I said apologetically to them both.

"It's true anyway, we've never been in love but still it hurt all the same."Sofia said.

"I still had no right to say it, I'm sorry guys, I love ye so much and I hate hurting ye, please forgive me". I say begging for their forgiveness.

"Aurora it's fine, I promise... Now can we please go somewhere fun." Raquel said assuring me that it was fine. I hugged them both.

"Yeah let's go to a club or something and forget about everything." Sofia said  excitedly.

"Yeah that's a great idea". I said excited.

After I told mom and dad we were going we went and got changed. While we were doing so I told them how Leo's and I conversation went,they were surprised it went it that good and I told about the dinner tomorrow.

When we were ready we left to go to the club. Massimo and a few of our other bodyguards came with us just for more protection because of this whole Damon Buissness. When we arrived at the club we got our drinks and went dancing.

After hours of laughing and dancing we decided to go home...well actually Massimo advised us it was time to go because we were all very drunk.When we got home Sofia and Raquel went to there room and I made my way to mine.

I stumbled up the stairs and my clumsy self missed the last step. I closed my eyes waiting for my face to smash against the ground. I knew these heels were a killer in disguise.

However my face didn't hit off the ground or my body for that matter, someone had caught hold of me before I fell. They had wrapped their arms around my waist and kept ahold of me. I opened my eyes to see a shirtless Leo staring down at me, even with these heels he's still taller then me.

I cleared my throat looking away from his bare chest "Leo, you're still up? It's like 2am."

"Yeah I couldn't sleep". Leo said with his arms still around my waist. I was pressed against his chest and my arms were against his chest.

"Thank you for catching me Leo". I said staring up at him.

"Anytime Aurora, we wouldn't want to damage that pretty face of yours." Leo mocked with a smile on his face.  I chuckled before stumbling again.

"Whoo! Don't worry I got you". Leo said as he picked me up in his arms and brought me to my room.

He sat me down on my bed and I fell straight back, my head hit the comfy mattress. Leo took my heels off and put them in my wardrobe. I lifted my legs and layed them on the bed, I closed my eyes and embraced the comfort of my bed.

"Your not going to bed like that are you? " Leo asked. I opened my eyes to see him with his arms folded.

"Like what?" I mumbled closing my eyes again.

"Like a discoball." He said coming towards the bed, he lifted me up off the bed till I was standing. He wrapped my arms around his shoulders and I rested my head in his neck because I was half asleep. He lifted me up completely and he wrapped my legs around his waist and brought me to the bathroom. He sat me on the countertop but my legs were still wrapped tightly around his waist and I was still laying my head on his shoulder.

"Come on Aurora, let's get this makeup off so we can go to bed." Leo said sounding annoyed. I groaned on his shoulder still half asleep. He removed my arms and took ahold of head gently and rested it against the mirror. He got the makeup wipes from beside me and started wiping my makeup off. The coldness of the wipes made me wake up a bit, I opened  my eyes and stared at Leo was wiping my face gently.

My legs were still wrapped around his waist and he was pressed up against me. I could feel him getting hard against me which made me move a little. Leo groaned a little before he stopped wiping my face.

I tried to remove my legs from around his waist to back away from him because he was really hard and my core was pulsing. Leo grabbed my legs to stop me from moving.

"Don't do that Aurora, your making it worse." Leo said in a low growl.

I stopped moving "Sorry". I mumble.

"God". Leo groaned with his head down.

"Sorry". I say again but in a whisper this time.

"It's not your fault Aurora, it's me it's all me."He says looking me in the eyes.

He looks down at my lips before sighing.

"What's wrong?"I asked.

"I wanna kiss you so badly right now".

Leo says looking into my eyes. My eyes widen a small bit in surprise, a small smile appears on my face. "Then do it, kiss me."

"I can't Aurora." He says looking down.

"Why not?"

"Your drunk Aurora, I'd be taking advantage of you and I'm..I wouldn't do that to you.. Ever."

"I know you wouldn't Leo." I said assuring him.

"Your not like other girls Aurora ... Your different,innocent and I can't take that away from you.. especially because you love me and you know me, I don't do relationships."

"I know Leo, I've seen you with a thousand girls and I don't think you've ever been in a relationship." I joked smiling at him. Leo chuckled "Come on let's get you to bed."

I slid off the counter and Leo took ahold of my hand and led me back into my room. He sat me on my bed while he went to my wardrobe. He came back with an oversized hoodie.

He took ahold of my hands and lifted me of the bed. He turned me around and moved my hair to my right shoulder before unzipping my dress.

He moved the straps down my arms until they were free. Leo pulled my dress down leaving me only in my underwear, I covered my boobs with my arms but my back was to him so he didn't see anything.

He put the hoodie over my head and told me to put my arms in the sleeves. When it was on he turned me around so I could face him. He moved my hair that was still lying on my right shoulder and brought it to the outside of the hoodie so it was free.

I smiled at Leo, "Thanks Leo".

"No need Aurora, who would want to sleep with a dress and a full face of makeup on."

"Not me" I chuckled.

"I know."Leo said holding me up.

"Come on let's get you into bed, because we're both tired and we need to be ready for tomorrow night."Leo said laying me in bed.

I smiled up at Leo who was wrapping me up in the duvet." Goodnight Leo"I whisper before closing my eyes.

"Goodnight Aurora".Leo whispers before kissing my forehead lightly and leaving the room.
