Chapter 8 - Video recording

Present

Evan's hands were trembling. He wanted to say something but his voice didn't come out. He tightly gripped the document in his hand.

"Did you read it." Williams' voice made him come out of his thoughts. He looked at Williams. He could clearly see the smirk in Williams face. He felt like he was mocked by his opponent. But he was unable to say anything.

"You know the points in that agreement."

"You can't just pay me back by working somewhere else. You need to work in this company and pay back the debt from your salary."

Williams leaned back to the couch and crossed his hands and legs. He was talking with an unknown smile in his face.

"But what should I say. There is no vacancy left in my company. How are you going to pay me back.'' Evan doesn't know what to say. His eyes were filled with tears. Those teardrops were ready to overflow from just a small movement.

"I also offered you a job. But you didn't take it."

"You were the one who promised me twice. But you are going back on your words."

"You should think. What will happen to your Ill father and sister? If you go to jail." Evans' heart trembled. All this time he only thought about the person he loved. But this time he thought of his family. 'ya what will happen to them.' After realising his helplessness. Evans' eyes began to overflow. He tried to get up from the couch bouch. But suddenly everything blurred out around him. His consciousness began to fade. And he was about to fall. But he fell into the broad chest of someone.

Evan opened his eyes. He felt slight pain in his head. He looked around and saw a golden coloured roof which was beautifully decorated. It had a dragon design. And a chandelier* light was hanging there . Evan turned around and looked through the room in daze. There was a large TV on the wall. The bed Evan was lying in is a double bed. There is a bedside table. The Room design was luxurious. And there was an attached kitchen. And a small bar in the room. Every facility was arranged in one room. And there was a smell lingering in the room which was intoxicating his mind . This lingering smell was familiar.

Suddenly he felt a shiver in his body because of an intense stare . He looked in the direction where he felt that stare coming from.

In the corner of that room a man is sitting on the couch. He was drinking wine luxuriously .

He was handsome like a god...., not a devil. His looks were incomparable. Phoenix eyes with red pupils, those eyes were resting under a golden framed spectacle. Even after covering it , the intensity of those eyes didn't subside. Just like a fire those two eyes were burning. And his slightly curly black hair combed back words. Which shows all his facial features perfectly. His light red lips were slightly curved up. He was sitting just like an emperor who thought the whole world was under him. Arrogant but beautiful look. With a lonely look on his face.

Suddenly, realisation hit Evan. He felt a shiver. His whole body is trembling . He suddenly got up from his bed. He searched his whole body, especially the back of his neck. After realising there is no pain in his body. No Mark I his neck, he sighed in relief. And with anxious eyes looked at the man who was sitting in front of him .

After seeing Evan checking his body. William smirked. Flame in his eyes intensified. He smiled showing his beautiful white teeth.

" I didn't do anything to you. So no need to be scared." A beautiful intense voice echoed in the room.

"If I wanted to do anything to you. I would have done it many times by now. You should have belonged to me long ago."

Without taking his eyes from Evan . Willam got up from the chair and walked towards the bed .

Evans' heart was trembling in fear. He got out of bed.

After stopping in front of Evan. William looked at him. Smile in his lips disappeared just like an illusion . And his eyes were staring at Evan. Then he asked with his proud voice.

" So what is your decision? "

That question echoed in the room

Evan flinched from this question. Now he remembered everything that happened. About the marriage proposal. And the agreement.

His eyes began to get wet..

He felt so helpless.

William pinched Evans. It made Evan look at Williams eyes.

"Do you know the first time. I met you at the interview."

'Two years ago when Evan came to take an interview. Williams was there. Because he was there that day. He just looked through the interview for some time.'

"You looked so anxious yet confident." Evan was surprised. "You know in ordinary every person I met were greedy. They wanted something from me. So they always try to get on me by various method." William looked at Evan as he was tried to read something from Evan. But Evan looked down.

"But you were different. You never showed the slightest greed in your eyes, nor did you have any interest in me."

How could Evan have some interest in William when his mind was full of his brother Matthew?

But Evan can't say that. He wants to scream that he loves Matthew in front of this person. But something inside him was stopping him from saying anything.

"You know that moment. I made my mind to make you mine and only mine." Williams voice had an unusual determination. Which made Evan become more scared.

"You know I always had my eyes on you." William walked towards the TV and took the remote. From the side of the TV. And pressed a button.

Suddenly the TV screen lit up. And something began to show on the TV. After seeing the image on the screen Evan felt that the place he was standing was crumbling and he would fall into the bottomless pit. The video showed his face. It was him working in the company. It's not a video from recent days. It's a video of him working in the company more than 1 year ago.
