After their little date, Xichen brought Jiang Cheng home.

"Did you have fun tonight?"

"Yes."

"That's good, well see you later Jiang Cheng."

Before getting out of the car, Jiang Cheng gave Xichen a kiss. But that kiss became passionate.

"Mmm... Jiang Cheng, you taste like sushi."

"Shut up."

"Good night Jiang Cheng." giving him one last kiss

"Good night Lan Huan."

Jiang Cheng waved goodbye before going into his house.

Lan Xichen watched Jiang Cheng go in, before driving away. He started to drive back to his house, he wanted to take a shower before going over to his uncle.

He texted Wangji to make sure to be there on time. 5 minutes later, he gets a reply:

"Mmm." -Wangji

Xichen took a quick shower, he started to think about Jiang Cheng. Thinking about how cute he was when they were looking at the sunset, that caused Xichen to smile to himself.

"I should take him again someday," he muttered to himself

After he finished showering. Je went to the kitchen to make some tea. He looked at the time, it was already 7:30 pm. He was really curious as to what his uncle wanted to talk to him and Wangji about.

"Sigh,"

He went to his room to get dressed, after getting dressed he went to his car and started to drive to his uncle's house not too far from his own. To his surprise, Wangji wasn't earlier than him. Usually, his brother would be the first one to their uncle; even if he had a job.

He walks into the house, his uncle was making food in the kitchen.

"Uncle, what are you making?"

"Oh, Xichen; you are here,"

"Yes,"

"Where is your brother?"

"On his way," Xichen lied, although it didn't sit well with him.

About an hour later, Wangji had finally arrived. When he arrived at his uncle's house, everyone was looking at him.

"Why are you late Wangji?" asked Lan Qiren

"Sorry Uncle, Xichen. I was busy with work"

Wangji's face was blank while telling a lie.

"Okay, come over and let's eat."

"Mmm."

They went to the dining table, Uncle Lan had made simple soup and rice and some side dishes. It was different then what the Jiang family had for dinner.

"So, Wangji; how is work?"

"Okay."

"How about you Xichen?"

"It's going pretty good. A lot of the students are attentive in class which makes me very happy."

They continue eating for a while before Xichen asked:

"So, Uncle; what did you want to talk about today.?"

"Right, I have found a friend who's daughter is looking for a husband. I told them that Wangji was available. The daughter is about the same age as you Wangji, she is also in the entertainment industry. She said that she would like to meet you, and get to know you."

"But Uncle, I don't want to go."

"Why, you can't be single forever Wangji. You have to find yourself a wife who would take care of you and bare your children, your children will carry on the Lan name."

"I don't want to meet her, I have someone already."

Uncle Lan was surprised, he didn't expect Wangji to already have a partner.

"Who is this person, what is her name does she have a good background, does she have a job, how come I have never met her?"

"Oh dear," thought Lan Xichen

"His name is Wei Wuxian, he is a student at Julliard who is becoming a singer."

"'He?'"

"Are you saying that you are with a male, I don't accept this."

"Yes."

"Did you say Wei Wuxian?"

"Yes."

"Isn't that Jiang Fengmian's kid?"

"Yes."

Uncle Lan looked like he was about to pass out.

"I knew that family was trouble." thought Uncle Lan

"Why a MAN Wangji? Why are you GAY? What have I done to make you like MEN?"

"I like this person, I am sorry Uncle."

"Why are you gay? What have I done to deserve this? Did you know about this Xichen?"

Xichen looked at his Uncle and nodded his head.

"HOW LONG?"

"one months or so," replied Wangji

"I am really sorry Uncle, but I have waited for this person for a very long time."

Uncle Lan put his fingers to the bridge of his nose, looking so disappointed in his nephew.

"I am sorry too, but I won't allow a gay man to enter my house."

Everyone was silent for a while.

"Uncle, don't be so rash," said Xichen

"I am not being RASH Xichen, your brother here is a GAY MAN; and I won't allow that in MY HOUSE. He can either stop his relationship or never step foot in this house AGAIN."

No one moved for a while, but Wangji suddenly stood up. He looked at his brother, then at his uncle. He gave a quick bow before walking towards the door.

"Wangji, wait!" Xichen exclaimed

"Brother, I am sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry for little brother, remember that I will always be by your side no matter what happens."

"Mmm."

Wangji brought his brother into a hug, it surprised Xichen because his brother never took the initiative to hug people before. Xichen's eyes began to water as he watched his brother walk out the door.
