Results of Seclusion
Having reached the peak of the Dao Source Realm I was now qualified to be promoted to the Emperor Realm. It had been 10 years, after all. So I took a break from cultivating.
"Alright… Let's see how everything is progressing. I wonder what the cities around Void World look like now." I thought, standing up and stretching.
"You should take your beautiful wife with you on such a sight seeing journey. I'm certain she will enjoy such a thing." Fang Qing said before going back to her own Seclusion inside my Knowledge Sea.
"Senior has a great idea. I'll see if there is something around in those cities that will look good on her." I said, stretching again, I have to get the blood flowing again. "Let's go see mother-in-law first to see if she needs anything." I said, flying over to the Thunder Temple.
~~Outside the temple~~
"And this will… Well well well, if it isn't my son in law. Have you come out of seclusion now? Lei'er has been eager to see you." Huo Dai mentioned as I landed.
Somewhere else close by inside the Thunder Temple. Huo Lei noticed that I was near and jumped up out of a meeting.
"My lady, what's wrong!?" The person meeting with her shouted out after her, and with no response the person just gave up. "What could possibly get the Lady to act in such a way… Oh… Has the Young Master decided to come out of seclusion now? That look on her face though… She must really want him." The person said, walking out of the room. "Who am I kidding? Everyone here wants to see him." The person said, quickening their pace.
~~Outside the Thunder Temple~~
A moment later Huo Lei came out of the Thunder Temple's massive doors and flew right for me. Hugging me tightly and beating the air with her tails rapidly. She had grown more and was at 7 tails now. I received this hug with a warm embrace. Shortly after I pulled back a little and lifted her head up to look into her eyes.
"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting this long." I said, with a warm and gentle kiss.
"Husband, hehe, I've been waiting for your kiss for so long I won't be satisfied with just this." Huo Lei said playfully and then wrapped her arms behind my neck and pulled herself up a little. Wrapping her legs around my waste and indulging in a passionate kiss.
A seemingly short time later for us and a seemingly long time for the spectators. I suppressed my urge to continue going further for the moment as Huo Lei pulled her lips away from mine and pressed her forehead against mine gently but firmly and gazed into my eyes.
"Husband is too unfair to his wife. Leaving me alone almost all this time meanwhile everyone else in the village is all lovey dovey. It's already hard enough to deal with waiting for our own kids when I think about it. But now I can't not think about it. Just look at how many cuties there are now. And that boy born shortly after you saved us already has a sizable family. It's not fair." Huo Lei hmpfed, when she realized it wasn't going to go any further.
"You are right. I have been neglecting you during this time. It was not fair. And I can not give you any children now. This Husband is truly useless. What can he do to make it up to you?" I said, caressing her cheek.
"Hmpf… you already know one way to solve this. But let's see what you come up with." Huo Lei said, calming down a little.
"Thankfully that book gave me some great hints on how to defuse these kinds of things. I'll have to thank my father for such knowledge later." I thought, breathing a sigh of relief in my heart. "I know, why don't the two of us travel the Void World together and visit every city. I'll buy you anything you want and…" I leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Perhaps we can… in every city…" I said softly.
"Then I will forgive my foolish husband for his inaction this time." Huo Lei said, blushing and nuzzling my check. "When are we leaving?" She added with excitement and overwhelming anticipation.
"Just as soon as the reports here are finished with. After that we can depart for the first city on our journey. But one more thing first… You've done well to reach the peak of the Saint King Realm. I am proud of you and I'd like to give you a reward. Name it, and I will give it." I said then immediately realized that I had an issue to deal with. "What if she asked for that. I would be right back where I had started.
Huo Lei stopped nuzzling and whispered in my ear. "You already know what I want. And I intend on holding you to it. But I won't ask for it now. Instead I'll keep count until the day we can finally conceive. Until then… I want you to make my voice come out so loud that the entire city will hear." Huo Lei said, gently nibbling my ear.
"Which city?" I asked, thinking there was a specific one she had in mind.
"Yes…" Huo Lei said, with a devious lustful smile.
"Ev… Every city… You mean every city in the Void World, don't you?" I said holding her closer to me. "Since I have said I will do it. I naturally will." I said, then turning my focus back to Huo Dai. "So, are there any important reports that need my attention?" I asked, with a look that any Mother-in-Law could see through at this point. My mask was slipping and my own lust I had hidden before was showing beneath.
"Leiji can… There are no immediate reports that require your attention. You may handle anything that comes up when you return." Huo Dai giggled. Then a bolt of lightning flashed. "There they go… So full of energy. I'm glad my little girl has such a dependable husband." Huo Dai said, still with her hand covering her mouth from giggling.
