Mercenary Guild.

After learning how a city of swordsman was formed in a magic world ,I realized something. The only person that would have that story would be Alex ,considering there were only mages in this world until I trained Alex. I wanted to meet him ,but I had no clue if I'd be able to get close to him. He's a city lord right now. Well it should be fine for a while. I came here to have fun first and foremost. I was so bored in that mountain. So after going in the city ,I practiced my sword sings and gained +1 in my attributes. After doing my daily practice ,I walked around to see if Alex would be around the city or at the city lords manor. I followed the arrow and it led me to a really big house. I guess he's busy as the city lord ,I'll visit him another time. I could sneak in right now with my agility and sword flash ,but I'd rather not interrupt his work.

I went to the city market to try and gather information. With my high attributes ,I can basically eavesdrop without anyone noticing. After walking for a bit ,I learned that every town has a sort of adventurer's guild. It's mostly referred to as the mercenary guild. All sorts of people join like wandering swordsmen. I found that a few people learnt sword energy ,but had no talent to get stronger so they settled down outside and taught other people sword energy. So there are a lot of wandering swordsmen that come register as mercenaries. There are also desperate mages who can't make a living ,so they register as mercenaries in order to try and survive. I walked to the desk and registered as a mercenary. It's seems they use a basic metal tier system. They identify your rank based on metal plates. You start at Copper and go up to Silver ,then Iron ,Gold ,Ruby ,Sapphire ,Emerald ,and finally Orichalcum. There's also a Mithril rank ,but only 5 people in the history of the world have reached it. Currently there are only 3 Known Mithril Mercenaries that are alive and well. The very first Mithril mercenary was killed after fighting a legendary dragon. He had succumbed to his wounds after killing it. The whereabouts of the second Mithril mercenary are unknown as of now. It's unclear if he's dead or alive. The third one is the current emperor. His father was the first emperor and he required all his children to become mercenaries of another country until he proved himself as a Mithril Mercenary. His father was the first Mithril Mercenary ,having died during the battle against a legendary dragon. He became a Mithril mercenary by slaying a Great Archdemon that was summoned from hell by cultists. The fourth one is the Magic Tower leader. He is the strongest mage and was able to create the Magic Tower from scratch under the eyes of all the nobles and the current emperor. He succeeded in nurturing a force of mages and created a legendary time spell ,Chronos Line. Successfully being recognized as a Mithril rank mercenary. Apparently the fifth one is Alex! He had fought on par with the second Mithril mercenary and managed to severely injure him ,forcing him into hiding. Nobody knows if he's alive ,but everyone is aware that Alex is stronger than him. Resulting in the current City Of Blades.
