Dexter asked the humakey in front of him,
The humakey looked at the golden scroll before replying to the bedridden human
"The explanation is correct but the name of the flower is 'Niwa' not 'Ani"
"I see, can i hear it again please" Dexter ask
The humakey chuckled before saying to the child "Sure, ill repeat it until it can no longer left your brain"
'That's kind of creepy' Dexter thought before hearing the humakey read the content of the scroll
Dexter's memory is a little blurry the day he got to this place
This 'place' doesn't mean the healing house it means the devil den
All he could remember is that he was sleeping in his....room? or maybe he was talking to someone, when he suddenly got transported to this place
He know that he got parents, he couldn't remember there face nor their name but he got a gut feeling that he once received a warm hug from both of them
And thanks to the not so peaceful days at the devil den, the young lad couldn't have enough time to remember anything nor worry about something cause he's mind was focus on a single thing
And it's to survive
And this time was no different he couldn't have any time to think about the time he spend before being transported to this place, he didn't even try to remember that days
His mind was occupied by the thought of Madell, how to please her, enough to make Ma'am Madell not have a single thought of abandoning him
He knows that Madell cared for humans, but according to the skill board, he's no longer a human but a Demi king,
A race he had no clue about,
"Repeat what I just said" The humakey said, which dexter complied
He started to recite the herbs, its name what it can do to the body, how much is healthy for the body to consume ?, the duration of its effect, how many must be taken before it becomes bad for you,
He recite it all but the second he said all the things about the herbs, tiny bits of information regarding it slowly leaves his brain..to be precise the young lad is slowly forgetting the things that was freshly thought to him
"Again" The humakey said and dexter recited it all
If he forgot even a single information, the humakey will tell him that information
"Can I hear it again please" Dexter said which the humakey complied
After hearing the information once again, he recite it aloud
When his memory failed him dexter will say to the humakey
"Can I hear it again please"
The other humakey's beside the one teaching dexter left the room without the young lad noticing anything
The two was alone for three to five hours with dexter completely absorb on learning things about the herbs
The door to Dexter's room opened and a voice accompanied its creak
"Are you all right child?"
Hearing the voice dexter immediately looked at the door and when he found no one he smiled and said
"Ma'am Madell"
'Madell?'
The humakey teaching dexter slowly turn around and when she saw who opened the door
"Master!, welcome back"
Hearing the humakey beside him greet Madell, dexter copied
"Welcome back ma'am Madell"
Hearing the two Madell let out a sigh and said
"Anything worth reporting my student"
"The human's appetite is larger than their actual size, she eat a piece of frog tongue meat, and a total of six fruits that have nutrients responsible for the bone"
"Okay, but what about the scroll in your hand?" Madell asked
The humakey looked at her hand holding the scroll before replying to her teacher
"I saw it on the table and according to what master had said earlier, that don't let the human fall unconscious while the herb in its body was still fresh"
The humakey took a deep breathe before continuing
"And I read that learning can make your brain work so it must be a counter measure for sleeping"
"Quite a long report you always have, then how is it being in charge of the healer house?"
"Its tiring on the throat master"
"pfft-, aren't you too blunt?" Madell asked
"I learned everything from master"
'Damn, I don't know what's going on but that's a nice comeback' Dexter pondered eavesdropping on the two
"You can leave now, but do come back tomorrow afternoon and serve Mandell until she recovered"
"Master?"
Hearing the humakey, Madell looked at her and waited on what she wanted to say
"hmm?"
"Is the human going to be your student?"
Madell immediately answered "Yes, she's gonna be your fellow student"
"Then I'll take my leave" The humakey said after hearing Madell's response to her question
When the humakey left the room dexter didn't know where to look as he couldn't see Madell
Maybe the bed is too high and he also couldn't move his head the much, or maybe because ma'am Madell is shorter than the humakey's who visited him earlier
While pondering about random things the young man heard a voice
"Child did you know the reason to why you fall down the sewer?"
'What a hard first question'
"Its because I heard you'll throw me out?" Dexter said with his eyes looking at the wooden ceiling
"Throw you out?, I wouldn't do that"
"Is it because you liked humans?, sorry ma'am Madell but I think I'm no longer human" Dexter said afraid on the words that would escape his mouth
".....I wouldn't throw you out with that kind of reasoning"
"But you don't have a reason to care for me either?"
"....." Not hearing a responce Dexter said like he was talking to himself
"Its scary being abandon by the one that could guarantee your survival...its scary"
"Sorry ma'am Madell for using your affection ...you see I'm just to weak by myself, so weak that I need to leach off to someone stronger just to live in this place"
