Dexter hid in the bushes while staring in his uncle's cool posture

"So cool!!"

The kid said as a wide smile appear on his face

Enjoying the sight of his uncle who is quite scared of the wolf hiding behind the deer

It can be considered as a bad thing, for the kid liking his uncle's suffering figure. but the reason behind the kid's smile is something different

'Now I can see how my uncle will beat up a bad guy'

The kid thought waiting for everything to unfold right before his innocent little eyes

*Rustle*

The sound of the bushes behind the kid's uncle being swayed by the child who is curious about what will happen next

The kid's uncle isn't the same as when he started the career of hunting,

when he was twenty years old fighting a wolf by quickly shooting its body is the strategy he always use as it was the only method he can use when he was face up against something as agile as a wolf

But ten years has already past and his body isn't as agile as before so taking a wild wolf head-on is no means than suicide and even in his hayday getting close to a wolf is idiotic

The child's uncle hold his rifle up to his chin and aimed at the ripped and torn flesh of their supposed to be lunch

Shooting is the thing that the man can't possibly do. when the wild wolf is still hiding and is unseen in the man's aim,

Knowing that if he misses, the time he will take to reload will be a great chance for the hungry predator to attack

So the kids uncle with his life and most importantly he's nephews life on the line waited for even a single appearance of the wolf who is hiding behind the corpse of the deer

The man isn't thinking of a single thing except when and where to shoot,

*Rustle*

The sound of the bushes and branches breaking behind the man

The man didn't respond to the sound causes one mistake can lead to his and his nephew's life ending

Dexter locked his eyes on his uncle as he waits

A moment has passed for the kid who is waiting, to feel bored on the sight of his uncle standing still bathing in the sunlight, covered in sweat

'Isn't uncle gonna fight with the bad guy?'

The kid thought as he wipe the bush to lean closer behind his uncle's legs

The kid walk slowly with one of his hands pushing through the leaves of the bush when a branch unknowingly flew through the center of the child's face

"Ouch!!"

The child's response to the unexpected thing that happened to him, the kid got caught in a surprise that he even stumbled down to his feet

when the wild branch attacked him

The man's focus broke when he heard a loud voice behind him

"Ouch!!"

Hearing the kids voice as if the child has said those word cause of pain, the man immediately turn around from his prey to see his nephew

'Is there another wolf there? god damnit the kids there!'

Dexter's uncle though as he rushes to the bushes, he wipes the grass around where the voice seems to originate from

"Dexter!!"

The man shouted as he walked toward the sound and there he saw his nephew scratching his head while sitting flat on the ground

"yes, uncle?"

The kid said quite surprised hearing his uncle shout his name out loud

"phew~, thank God he's alright"

The kid's uncle muttered, he then lean close to the kid and whispered

"kid stay right here, kay uncle's gonna hunt a bad guy right now"

"Uncle, uncle, can I watch the fight!!"

Said the kid who is quite excited and has been waiting for this moment to arrive

"No!!, fuckin way stay right here got it!!"

His uncle shouted right before his ears making the sound ring to his eardrum

Hearing his uncle's answer the kid has no choice but to listen as his father told him to always listen to his uncle when they are together in the hunt or he will no longer be able to accompany his uncle

The kid said with a frown face and a little scared of his uncle's raised voice

The kid's uncle smiled cause for some reason the sight of the sad kid is quite cute from his perspective

The child's uncle brush the kid's hair and when the man is about to leave he's word before facing the lone wolf once more

He felt a stab in his leg

"ummm"

The kid's uncle bites his lips as he glances behind him seeing the lone wolf finally out, with its sharp fangs going through the man's leg

The lone wolf pull the man with his fangs grasp and even with the man being the bigger one, the lone wolf manages to make Dexter's uncle fall to the ground

What a huge strength he has considering his little body

"Shit!"

The kid's uncle thought as he aim the gun to his legs were the lone wild wolf is munching on

The guy is a hunter so he knows what will happen next as he falls to the ground so without any hesitation he pulled the trigger on his gun

*bang*

The sound of the gun echoed in the surrounding sky making the bird who is minding their own business flew away terrified of what the hell the sound is

Hearing the gunshot the wolf hurriedly back away with its bite mark visible in the man's trouser

"Fuckin shit, you need to die !!"

The kid's uncle shouted as he felt the bullet of the gun has hit his leg

"Goddamnit!!"

The kid's uncle shouted as he tried to stand up with both his arms holding the leg which has been shot and been bitten by the lone wild wolf

"Kid, fall back for a sec will you?, and when you hear me scream Run. fuckin run toward your father and tell him everything, kay"

The kid's uncle said to the child who is trembling behind the bushes
