1 Re Ch 1
In the middle of the darkness, Jason slowly opened his eyes, having a little difficulty. His body was in a state of floating in a space but despite being trying hard, he just couldn't move his body.
'Just what the hell is this place?'
While he was observing the space, some voice fell into his ears attracting his attention. Suddenly, his body seemed to be pulled by an invisible force and he passed out again.
"... Lie"
"Xiao Li..."
"Xiao Li, look Dad is here to play with you..."
"I told you he is still sleeping."
'Who is it?'
He slowly regained his consciousness and control over his body. Opening his eyes, he saw two unfamiliar people looking at him and smiling sheepishly.
The man seemed to be in his thirties, looking at him with a big smile. He had a head full of brown hair with brown eyes. He had a height of 180 cm with toned muscles. He was making some funny faces. While the woman beside her was giggling and trying to stop the burly man. She was beautiful with long violet hair reaching up to her back. Her purple eyes filled with firmness and love as she looked at Jason.
'They seemed like husband and wife. And I might be their child... A family, huh? Well, since life has given me another chance, I will not waste it!'
Jason's eyes turned resolute as he looked at the duo bickering with each other.
[Are you awake, Master?]
While Jason was observing his parents, a cute female voice echoed in his ear.
'What the...?' Jason was started.
The voice repeated itself.
[Master. Are you awake?]
'W-who are you?' Jason asked carefully, looking around for the owner of that voice but aside from the husband and wife, there was no one else in the room.
'Where is it coming from?'
[I am your personal system, granted to help you in achieving everything you desire.]
'Is it coming from my head?'
[That is correct, Master.]
'Am I hallucinating or something?'
[No, Master. You're awake.]
Jason thought quite hard and finally realized, asking the voice. 'Are you perhaps bestowed to me by that goddess?'
[You are correct, Master.]
'Well, then was not there supposed to be a status window of something? Where is it?'
Just as his words fell, a transparent screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Jason observed the panel, his eyes drifted to the question mark on his bloodline panel.
'Why are there so many question marks in my bloodline and physique?'
[Master bloodline is in a sealed state. The same goes for your real physique. Only by becoming stronger can Master be able to unseal it.]
Jason nodded his head and turned his attention to the inventory tab, or more likely the inventory tab flashing with bright light attracted his attention to itself.
Jason stared at the inventory tab and it opened, revealing 3 chests of the same golden color.
'What are these chests?'
[It contains certain abilities for the master as a gift from the Goddess. You just have to think to open them.]
Jason nodded in understanding, his eyes landing on the chest from the right.
'Open'
Creak!
The golden chest made a soft sound and opened.
A new line appeared in front of his eyes.
"Passive: Training (Max)"
'Just what the hell is this?'
[Allow me to explain master. As the name suggests, this is a passive ability called 'Training'! It will be active all the time and doesn't need you, my master, to do anything. Since it's related to training, then it will let the master become stronger without putting too much effort.]
'It is like a cheat ability. Even though it is good but I still like my traditional method to become stronger by going through rigorous training.'
[Master doesn't need to fret. Even though it is a cheat ability but it will not make you a stronger being in just a few years or anything at all. It is there to just make your path easier.]
'My Path? What path?' Jason's ears perked up, hearing some important info.
[Master's authority is too low to receive the answer. Only by becoming stronger did you can gain the privilege.]
'Why does it feel like I am being played here? *Sigh* It is such a frustrating feeling but it is not like I can even do anything at all.'
'Let's just open the other two chests!'
After five minutes, he checked his status again.

After it was done, Jason's eyes finally landed on the last panel constantly flashing like an unwanted notification in a phone.
'What is this?'
[Master has an unread message from the Goddess.]
'Oh! Open it then!'

Jason's train of thought was broken by the voice of the system.

While Jason was observing his new powers and abilities in the system panel, he almost forgot about the existence of the two people in the room.
The man and woman looked at the child's serious expression and conversed with each other.
"Honey, why did he make such a series expression? What might he be thinking?"
"Who knows? Nobody can understand the heart of a child." The man commented. "And who knows my son might be a genius. Hahahaha..."
Ssshhh!
The woman smacked the head of the man and grumbled. "Don't laugh like that! You will scare the child."
The man rubbed his head and picked up Jason, completely ignoring the woman. "My son loves his old man. Hehe, he will never be scared of me. Isn't it right?"
Jason heard his words and rolled his eyes, feeling a completely new feeling that he never experienced in his past life. The feeling of being cared for and loved. It was new to him.
Overwhelmed by it, he couldn't help as a tear rolled down his cheek.
"Look! You scared my baby!" The woman smacked the man again and snatched Jason from him, hissing at the man.
"Let me play with him some more."
"No way! Your face is scary."
"No, it's not."
Jason watched them arguing with each other but their voices didn't hold any signs of anger, just a couple bickering with each other. He couldn't help but laugh at their display.
The duo stopped and turned to their child, laughing with him.
After half an hour, his father went out while his mother was cleaning the house, leaving him completely alone.
Bored, Jason started fidgeting with the system panel when his eyes caught on something.
The 'Cultivation' panel had changed. From 'nil', it now showed 'Foundation Building (1) 20%'.
'What the hell is going on? Just what happened in half an hour?'
[Master, this is the benefit of Passive: Training. The level and usage had been adapted to Master's current state. Once, Master grows up, the effects will be restored to their original states.]
'What is the difference between this state and at its full power?'
[Master can understand like this. If now you're only at the 1st stage of Qi Gathering then at full power, you might have reached the 8th stage but your body might have been crippled by that power.]
