New beginning??!?

Jade felt so bored, therefore, she sat in front of the mirror. With dazed expression, she looked to the front. Her deep thought formed a deep wrinkle on her forehead. Suddenly, her phone was buzzing and playing out her ringtone. After looking at the displayed name, she answered it immediately.

"Hello, Big Bro, what can i do for you? Your lil' sis here on your service!" Jade spoke cheerfully to her eldest brother, Rafe. Every time she thought about him, her heart felt so stuffed. From such an early age, her brother already given so much pressure and responsibility to manage family's company. That's why, despise his age, his behavior reflected a maturity, he also acted like a fatherly figure for her.

Raphael chuckled on the other side of the line, "such an obedient sister that I have..." a moment of silence. Rafe tend to talk straightly to the point, so Jade felt there was something wrong. But Jade decided to not put a pressure on her brother and just wait patiently for him to spill out the problem.

"Jade, this year you already twenty one.It's been three years since we lived apart from each other. Your family here already missing our little sister... Don't you want to come back home?"

Home. It's been so long. How to define home? A place that give you a sense of security? A place where you feel to be belonged? She wasn't sure anymore. If she was asked to go back home six months earlier, maybe she'll opposed the idea, but now...

She already thought about this matter for quite long time, but some scarred part of her soul still hesitated to face the horror she once survived back then in her hometown. She still remembered the time that turn her life upside down, open her eyes to such dark and devilish side of life. She never forget those moment, will never be able to do so.

But despite everything, Jade was still Jade. She would never allow such horrible thing to dictate her life and she missed her family like a crazy.

"Jade, are you still there?" her brother sounded so worried.

"Okay." strangely, her voice reflected a calm attitude.

Rafe was stunned for a moment. What she agreed to? Before he managed to ask, Jade added, "Big bro, i will go home."
