THE LOVE BIRDS
Even if Wu Jingguo was a Prince in Wu Li, he wasn't actually a picky eater. He could eat chicken, beef, pork, fish, and even vegetables just fine, but he didn't think it would be good for him to eat the food served on the stone table.
There were more than a dozen plates made of wood on the table, and on the plates were various things such as live worms, caterpillars, and other kinds of insects that even Wu Jingguo couldn't even name.
Those things were still alive, and that was why it wasn't surprising that some of them tried to slip away from the plates, but those demons kept their eyes on the so-called food, and that was why their hands immediately prevented the things from running away.
But, Wu Jingguo could only stare blankly at the scene before him. 'Are those things even worth protecting?' He wondered helplessly, but he could only ask the question in his head instead of voicing it out loud.
