Just in case

Knowing his appetite was not yet satiated, Storm made to intensify the kiss and stir Ellie up once more, but a glimpse of her tired eyes made him put his mission on hold.

She was exhausted and he knew in that state, she may not be able to handle another round.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ellie probed in a whisper, seeing his serious expression and the furrow between his brows as he stared down at her.

"I want you in my life forever," Storm answered, straight to the point with no change in his expression.

"Forever is a long time." Ellie pointed out.

"Too long to risk not being with the one your heart desires. It is you my heart desires, Ellie, and I don't want to risk forever without you." Storm revealed, melting Ellie's heart completely.

"If you want me, then I'm all yours."

"Promise?"

"Yes, Daddy. I promise. Just send my competition away." Ellie said, bringing both satisfaction and confusion to Storm's mind.
