Slime Part 1

it "awaken" from long slumber

it have no memory of what happened prior, but what it know, it finally "free"

it could feel its surroundings, it could appreciate environment around it, it could also move

after basking of the feeling of omnipotence, it started its journey toward Lefatse

it goes around the world, it witness wonder of nature

it saw a flowing water, it saw frozen land, it saw expanded desert

and after long journey, it finally met other existence like itself, a fellow slime

it was happy

it was glad to know it not the all alone in this vast world

it feel like it found its other half that long lost

that first moment they see each other, they had heard faint whisper

it was like that of devil temptation, saying "sieze it, devour that in front of you, be greater than u currently are"

but both enjoy each other company above all else, thus the whisper slowly forgotten

together, they tread the world

at time, they buried under sand of desert

at time, stranded somewhere due caught in flow of water

at time, they nearly frozen due coldness of ice

but they keep accompanied each other, in joy and torment

as they journey about, they found a place

there, thousands of their kin living there in harmony

and there, they witness something they have hard time understand

two different slimes melt together as one, their core hitting each other while let out a gasp

after the deed is done, they separated themselves again, with one of it carry one additional tiny core in their body

curious, they ask what they doing

they answer "we're copulating, making a lesser spawn of ourselves"

they ask why they did so

they answer "it feels good, and our lesser spawn is cute addition for our family"

why don't you try it yourself? they suggested

is it embarrassment? or is it denial? they don't know

what they know is they fled from there together

after going some distance away from settlement

they can't forget the scene they just saw

uncomfortable silence fell upon them

unable to held it in, they broke the silence

then conversation stopped

"...are we stopping here?"

thinking they journeyed enough, they settled down in a beach, making construct out of sands as their permanent dwelling

"i think it will taste better than those 2 spawn cores i ate earlier"

it try to resist the violating slime, but the slime weaker than it who already ate countless core prior, and could only slowly dominated by it

and it got violated, its core slowly melted away. when only around half its core left

"HANDS OFF MY PARTNER YOU BASTARD!"

and big impact hit from the side of violating slime, and it forcefully got separated

ignoring the howling slime, it approached its partner

"partner, you okay?!"

"...not good... half my core already gone, leave here partner, at least you should be living"

"how could i leave my partner to death all alone? worst come worst, i will die trying save you than leaving you here"

"no, listen to me... that already ate our children... and perhaps many other core prior. its physical power are at another level, you can't win, partner, leave me!"

"noo! if i already lost my children due that fiend, you expect me to lose you too? how do i life from now on?!"

the violating slime suddenly talked in

"look, i don't give a damn about your circumstances, since u both here, just get along and be my nutrition!"

and it charge forward as it say that

"...doesn't look like it will let me go anyway, so i will resist to the bitter end"

"...can't be helped then"

the half core slime dragged its battered body and said

"i will hold him back, just hit him with all you got, right at core! if impact managed to expel it from its body, we won!"

"ok!"

"what a puny slime like you can do? fell to despair!"

"you not going anywhere!"

the half core slime forcefully mix itself with violating slime, then use all it had to push the opposite core to be as close as its outer skin

"ughh? where this power come from"

"don't underestimate my dying will! this is last time we cooperate together, i can't let it fail even at cost of myself. partner, DO IT!"

It charge, giving itself to the momentum, and hit enemy right at exposed core

the impact it produce managed to push out core from its body

"no... way..."

and with that, the slime body collapsed

"we did it, partner"

"...yes, we... did..."

it saw state of its partner

it barely contain its shape, looking like it could collapse at any moment

"PARTNER!"

"...it seems...that's it... for me... I'm going ahead... partner..."

"NO! YOU AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE! STAY WITH ME!"

"...i can't... i barely lasted now... and i might gone soon..."

knowing this is last time, it stay by its side

as expected, even blob surprised by its partner absurd requests

at that moment, everything blob experience with its partner come back like revolving lantern

the moment they came to that settlement

the moment they travel together

the moment they first met

that forgotten devil whisper

all come back as blob consume its partner

so its all came to that...

as it immersed in the experience, blob heard voice that supposed not there

"so you ate it eh? how is it? isn't it great bliss?

it was voice of the violating slime

blob turned toward source of voice. it was from the expelled core

"i just knocked out. give me enough time and i will be back to shape"

blob draw closer to the core

"didn't you hear that voice as you consume other! that was how we supposed to live! the one that u doing is but escaping from reality! predating other, this is what we live for! our greatest pleasure and our holy mission! you just playing house here at beach!"

"...i don't give a damn about that"

"huh?"

and blob finally at front of the core

"all i care is you fiend should cease to exist"

"...Ahahahahahahhaha! thats rich coming from you! mark my word, little slime! you will become worse than i ever did! or should i say "better"? whichever is it, i don't care! hahahahah!"

and it was devoured by blob

blob back to its dwelling

it no longer have noise from its spawn, nor voice of its partner

it is but desolate place

"...I'm going partner. we might not be the only one who got this tragedy, there might be countless one who get worse out there. I'm going to help those that i could"

obviously no one there to answer blob. it was all alone after all

"perhaps you gonna blame me for what i doing, since i will end devour other all the same, but at very wish, i don't wish other experience what i just did"

it turned around and began to leave

"i hope at the end of my journey, i could see you again, regardless how it is. see you again, partner"

and thus, blob leave for another journey

this time alone without its trusted partner
