Cheng Xiu and Lancy the Maid reached the Godly Dungeons. And no, Cheng Xiu was not exaggerating. The name of the Dungeon was really Godly. That name let her know the kind of people that she was dealing with.
The man behind the bars was thin and unkempt. His head bowed, resting on his knees.
"Her Highness, Lady Rora is here," Lancy called out.
Cheng Xiu frowned. That call did not seem friendly at all. In fact, she had not even called out to the man!
Blue eyes met her eyes.
Cheng Xiu had to force herself to not flinch. The face was covered in welts, like it was hit with whips.
"Rorry," the man called and then coughed up blood.
Cheng Xiu did not move. She was unsure of how to react.
The man let out a wet laugh, sending spittle and blood spatters everywhere on the floor.
"Are you scared of me now?" he asked her.
