VRMMORPG: Return Of The Grandmaster

[Warning: Mature Content] "I got transmigrated into the game world I created?!" Trent Docker, a youth who had wasted much of his life as a chronic gamer and web-savvy individual, finally utilizes his cyber intellect to become a better person. He creates the most magnificent virtual reality game ever, which immediately garners sponsorship and funding, and Paradox Unbound, the best VR game, is established. However, fate takes a dark turn when Trent and his family are brutally murdered by his new business partners. Summoned by a goddess, he is granted a second chance at life with a condition: he must eliminate chaos and restore balance to the Paradox, a world that blends magic and technology. In return, she promises him revenge against those who took his life. Armed with an unparalleled, overpowered system and his comprehensive knowledge of the game he created, Trent becomes an unstoppable force. However, the Paradox proves to be more profound than he ever anticipated. Elves, devils, beasts, dungeons, and even nude female centaurs populate the world. Trent never expected such complexity when designing Paradox Unbound, but he is determined not to waste this new life. He aims to avenge his family's murder and satisfy the goddess who is oddly obsessed with him. Follow Trent as he builds the largest clan from his own seed and females, conquering other Dynasties all in the wish of the goddess and slowly becoming the villain of his own game. In My Game. 3

[14 players are requesting to inspect your gameplay. Should I facilitate?]

"Nope," Trent replied, full focus on the cockpit of his hovercraft as he zoomed over the destroyed dark streets of the Apocalypse map. Claw was soaring slightly ahead. 'Although I'd love to have these losers watch me play, I don't wanna create a sentiment that my game has a mod. Coz they'll see my swift movements and upgraded weapons.'

[Facilitation Denied]

[25 players are requesting to inspect—]

"Goddamn it, system. Just deny anyone that request."

[OK]

Trent had his eyes on the purple smoke of the Airdrop that had just landed as he zoomed with unreal speed over the wet dark streets occasionally illuminated by the golden lights of the scarce buildings.

He had just cleared the last cluster, raising his kill count to 25, with twenty headshots, four back shots, and one execution. There were thirty players left in the game, and the airdrop would be a beacon to any scavenging survivors, those low on ammunition and those who need perks. Trent couldn't wait to wrap this battle over, so he could head into the outside world and out of the Apocalypse, because the ring zone wouldn't allow a player to do so until after the game.

[Could we speak about your role to play and why you were sent here?]

"What's there to speak about....? The goddess said I bring balance and I bring justice, she gives me new life and that's all it. Maybe you can start by informing me what this chaos is in the Paradox."

[I'm sorry, but I'm only a game system and I have no cultural, historic nor sentimental information. I only provide Systematic information]

"...bullocks"

[But if you tell me what's transpiring, I could start generating self knowledge]

"Watchu wanna know??"

[How and why you're here. You were murdered, why? And by who?]

Trent took a deep breath before replying, the Paradox world appearing like a glitch due to his visors. "I was killed by my business partners that helped produce this game, they killed my family too."

[I am sorry to hear that. Why do you think they had done such a thing? Financial motive?]

Trent let out a scoff. 'Maybe,' he thought. 'But Vyle is such a rich company, money isn't totally their problem.' Trent had a hint why they really stabbed him in the back.

While skimming through the Paradox during his coding endeavours, Trent had instinctively written off some areas of the world, mostly due to their bizarre and unsettling features, deeming them unsuitable. He decided that players should be able to game without distress in more hospitable locations like the Apocalypse, Tundra, and Stratton, where the risk of encountering native entities was minimized.

And any player choosing to wander beyond these safe zones does it at their own risk. A large number of players leave these areas without concern, not like the indigenes of the Paradox can really kill them if they killed their avatars.

Vyle had more resources and they had carefully skimmed the Paradox, purposefully keeping Trent away from any information gathered because it had nothing to do with their contract. Whatever, Vyle had eradicated him out of the way would have to do with what they want from the Paradox and wouldn't like to share ownership of it with him.

Trent clenched his fist, remembering everything and Kamila, his lawyer, who was in on it too.

"Have you heard what you wanted to hear?" Trent asked irritatedly, hating speaking about it to something for the first time.

[Most certainly]

[It seems my host is on a peculiar path and I am glad to be your System throughout this endeavour]

Caww!

Claw flew into the cockpit and perched on his shoulder, like a UAV, revealing results. Trent nodded and stroked its head, undeploying the hovercraft. The vehicle whizzed and retracted into a series of folds, shrinking until it was as small as an action figure, and then spaghettified back into Trent's hollow watch.

His visors were still focused on the purple smoke of the Airdrop, not too far away, as he materialized his weapon once again. Trent took heavy but silent footsteps, his cape yielding to the wind, while the red from his skin and weapon was reflected on the wet streets.

He looked at his hollow watch and deployed a hoverboard that he had looted from a player he had killed, who had seemed moderately skilled for a game that had not even been running for 24 hours since its launch.

[Hoverboard deployed!]

[Stealth perk equipped!]

Trent hovered silently on the board as he took a bird's-eye view of the Airdrop. It was a big 3D octagonal box, and to Trent's delight, the smoke had dissipated, indicating that a player had already claimed it.

Trent listened as he hovered above, but he couldn't hear footsteps. 'Perhaps, he's on Stealth too,' he thought with a chuckle. He quickly steadied the Hawkeye67 Blaster, equipping it with night vision, and finally noticed the player. 'Oh! He's on Invisibility?!'

[Headshot!]

The player who was dressed in a Rare skin quickly bursted into the array of what he had looted. Trent landed on the roof of a building to steady himself and the Hawkeye67 Blaster as he undeployed the hoverboard.

He took a quick glance around, noticing the ring zone was closing in. "Oh! Match's about ending?' Trent glanced at the number of players left and surprisingly, it was ten.

He grinned, finding it amusing that this Airdrop would be the last ring zone. He scoffed; undeployed his weapon and leaped off the building, before hopping into it through the window.

Just as Trent raised his gaze to skim the interior of the building, he saw four players crouching just beneath the four windows, their gazes turned to him.

'Full Squad?!' Trent thought as he manifested his lightsaber as quickly as he could to match the reactive speed of the players to blast him to death.

He ducked, fast enough to dodge the first and second blast, before executing a slide kick with expert precision that knocked the player off his feet. Trent then dispatched him with a swift motion, sinking his lightsaber into the opponent's heart.

Trent gave a quick spin, with Talon Blaster deploying into his grasp. The red blast that burst from the muzzle of his weapon eliminated the second player with deadly accuracy.

[Double Kill!]

The other two players fled through the windows, recklessly dropping a gas grenade as they escaped. However, Crimson Knight was designed to counter such predicaments. With his wide eyes and sharp breaths, Trent navigated through the green-tinted haze, unaffected. He quickly summoned Claw, that was outside the building, guiding it to chase after the fleeing players.

Claw's view was transmitted to his visors and he could see the two players on their heels.

"One shot kill is possible?! I had triple HP!"

"I even shot the guy! 'sort of movement's that?!"

Trent exchanged possession with his bird like every other player could with their companion and he found himself in the air, over the two players.

[Hawkeye67 Blaster deployed]

With Stability active, Trent, who was airborne, was fully capable of setting the scope right on the head of the two gamers without flinching.

[Dual Headshot!....Bloodthirsty!]

[Quaaadruuuple Kill!

[Hoverboard deployed]

Trent casually zoomed over the now disintegrating corpses, stretching his arms to accept the tokens and loots.
