Scourge necromancer

Roan then ventured to the west and the environment was sandy dunes. A cold wind was battering his clothes and he felt chills down his spine. He then camped on the ground and set up his tent. Hunting in the wilderness and found a snake.

He then cut the head and tail then skinned it. He then made fire with his flint with sticks and grass and then cooked the snake on the fire that he skewered on the stick.

Biting it off, he then chewed it and felt its taste. He then slept that night and woke up after resting. It was still dark and Roan then resumed his travels. With his map, he knew that the place he would go was just a few miles ahead.

As he went traveling the sands, he saw that he was approaching a ruined catacomb. Its top was in shambles but its bottom was still strong and standing.

He approached the gate and then saw that the inscriptions glowed in a bluish hue. Making it open up and then Roan entered.

His steps echoed as he stepped inside and then torches went to light up one by one on the side. Upon walking into a hall, he then saw another gate that opened from top to bottom.

Thud!

He then entered and saw that the Guardian was already waiting for him. He was in robes and his face was covered with a necromancer mask.

"I came to seek the Guardian of this tomb and acquire his skill book," Roan said as he approached.

"I am that you seek. As for my skill book, it is not easily obtained. Challenge me in a duel and I will give you my skill book. Without using your skills as you battle me. I need to test your own strength," he said then descended from his throne.

He then grabbed his one-handed scythe from his back and then his bone shield.

"I am still not rusty. Give me your best shot!" he bellowed.

Roan then drew his two short swords and then went on his battle stance, "Sure!"

He dashed toward him and he attacked. Two swords in his hands as he did so. The Guardian then dashed too and was headed his way.

Roan attacked and slashed his sword. The Guardian then blocked with his shield and Roan slashed his other sword the Guardian repelled with his scythe.

Tang! Bing!

The enemy then used the skill [Weaken] and Roan was debuffed. Making him bite his lower lips. He can't use his skills now and has to deal with his enemy. His stats were weakened and then he would be more susceptible to damage.

He then attacked and then slashed. Making the enemy step back a bit. Throwing an [Exploding souls] skill and Roan evaded his attack. Using a soul blast toward him and Roan was struck in point blank range. His armor was burned and Roan was damaged.

He clicked his tongue and then sucked air bitterly. Wincing at the pain that he felt. Roan then threw daggers at him and the Guardian blocked it with his bone shield. He used [Homing soul skull] and then Roan was hit once again. Burning his clothes off.

Roan then dashed once again and he used [Reaping slash].

Roan evaded in a hair's breadth and felt that the skill was stronger than his currently. The skill headed towards the walls and landed with a bang.

Roan then dashed towards him and he used kali martial arts. Slashing with great execution. Disarming the scythe of the guardian by flicking his sword against his weapon.

Roan then kicked his shield sideways and he was open.

"A chance!" Roan then slashed and the enemy was slashed in the chest.

Swish!

Roan then didn't let him have time to breathe and followed his attack.

[Chained scythe slash]

The enemy summoned a chained scythe and then slashed him. Making Roan evade halfway.

He then clicked his tongue and then bit his lower lips in the process.

The Guardian then used [Dark energy missile] at him and Roan dashed while evading each one of them. One was heading and he evaded to the side and then dashed in a zigzag.

The Guardian was impressed at how nimble he was and Roan shortened the distance from him. He then used [Ghost parade] and Roan saw ghosts appearing towards him.

Roan then dashed into the fray while evading their strikes and he was slashed as he went inside their parade.

Roan then emerged from the parade and then was heading to the Guardian. The enemy then used [Drain] and Roan felt his Vital stats decrease as it was sucked.

The enemy then used [Hex] and he was cursed. Making all his stats lowered by half and was slowed for 3 seconds. Also, his perception was distorted. Making him bite his lower lips.

Roan then waited for the [Hex] skill to vanish and then he ran toward his enemy. The Guardian then used [Rain poison] and he was hit with the skill.

Making him poisoned and his health was decreasing slowly. Roan was then alarmed and he was at a great disadvantage.

He then dashed towards him and he was attacked with [Poison missile]. Making him evade them and then slashed him. The Guardian then blocked his attack and then used [Bone javelins]. Making Roan jolt at his attack. Repelling the incoming missiles with his swords.

The enemy then used [Corroding breathe] and Roan covered his face. Making his armor get corroded as he stepped back a bit. The Guardian then used [Death scythe slash] and he evaded. Making the hem on his cloak get ripped.

The enemy then used [Life and mana reap] and he was slashed. Making him hit on the shoulders. Roan then winced at the pain.

The enemy then used a Ground bone spike and Roan rolled to the side. Evading it up on the process. Nearly being skewered if he acted a second late.

The Guardian then gathered his mana and used his Ultimate skill.

[Furious spirits]

Spirits from the dead appeared and went out from the Guardian. Heading towards Roan and Roan can only cover his face. Evading it up but he was not able to get out unscathed.

He was burned from the magical damage and his armor was sizzling hot. Making him drop his other knee on the floor and panting hard.

Roan then drank his health potion and then readied to attack once again.

"You passed! You are a brave one. To make me use my ultimate and survive this far," he then chuckled.

"This is my Skill book. I will leave a copy for your elder but it will be only on the grandmaster level. Yours will be until Legend to Guardian level," he said then gave him the skill book.
