Bandits

We continued for half an hour before a geyser spirit attacked us.

Max had the situation handled and used a freezing spell on it.

Over the course a lot of minor threats appeared but most of the time it wasn't that serious.

Until the bandits appeared.

Usually bandits were npc's who were essentially useless in doing their job. But one day the game developers decided it would be a good idea to add a class of the same name, "bandit". People underestimated the bandit class at first. But hey were wrong. The class had speed, strength and had abilities which were pretty powerful. Once bandit's started grouping up it became impossible to travel through land routes. Sea routes had their own problem's of course, like pirates but overall safer.

Back to the bandit's appearing.

They surrounded us and one of them came over.

"Belongings or your lives" the man said.

Obviously he was lying. They could kill us and take our belongings. It was a much easier option.

I took out my dagger and revolver and pointed it at their leaders head.

Immediately all of them took out their weapons.

Which was exactly what I wanted.

None of them had ranged weapons. Guns weren't usually used in netcore despite the name. However not even a crossbow or a bow surprised me.

"What do ya think's gonna happen if ya pull that trigger cowboys?" he asked. "You'll be dead before ya even know it" he added.

I pulled out my message tool and sent a message to max.

-Place a barrier around us so no one can pass through.

Weapons couldn't be stopped by a barrier. You would have to set up a shield. However we didn't have time for that and none of them had ranged weapons.

I counted to five hoping the barrier would be set by then.

"Ya really don't think ya can walk away from this right?" the lead bandit said.

"I've seen ton a lads like ya who think they're so tough" he continued.

"Ya wanna know what happened ta them?" he asked.

"Well lemme tell ya son"

"Shut up" I said and pulled the trigger.
