At the top of the tower, the man who had previously looked down on the chaos now stared at nothing but the ruins of the fight happening in the courtyard.

His eyes passed over the bodies and the destruction caused.

His eyes lacked any emotion at this point; he was indifferent to the chaos, even though he was one of the targets the mercenaries were paid the most to kill.

Looking at his own reflection in the glass once more, he saw that his helper was still behind him.

"What is it, Stevens?" asked the man, noticing that his assistant seemed to want to say something.

"Sir, with all due respect… I request you to reconsider not leaving the building. Your safety comes first, and I'm not sure that A5 can take down a Child of Ark."

Stevens was almost begging the man in front of the window, but he remained silent for a long while, a small smile on his lips.
