Chapter 1: The Fallen Sovereign

It had been an eon (4.6 billion Earth years) since the void gained physical form, taking the name Erebos. He walked across the planet he had been ruling for the past 10 000 years. He stood in front of an army of deities and within in them was a silhouette. The silhouette of King Triva, Deity of the Stars and king of the Constellation of Stars.

"What seems to be the meaning of this?", Erebos asked, his tone remaining calm and cold.

"Erebos, today your reign of terror will end.", King Triva smirked, his voice as confident as ever.

Erebos laughed. "Do you really think you can defeat me? Especially with these weak deities who can't even destroy a constellation?

The leader of the deities had felt enraged by this insult. It was a deity from the Nebula Spiralis. They're kind have spiral features and their purpose is to weave threads of light to create new galaxies however they possessed great destructive capabilities as well. The leader, Vitalis, spoke up.

"Voided One. How dare you call us weak when you yourself are insignificant to-"

Before the deity could finish his sentence, Erebos threw a black hole at him and it devoured the entire army of deities, also leaving the planet Titanus evaporated. King Triva looked shocked, sweat streaming down his face.

"Who is the insignificant one, now? I'm surprised you had the guts to even come and try fighting me. I commend your foolishness because although you aren't even a celestial, you dared to challenge a sovereign. And as such. Your insolence will obtain the punishment it deserves. You should've stayed sprinkling stardust on to smaller galaxies.", Erebos grinned, pulling out a spear made from void matter.

King Triva, confused, asked. "Sprinkling stardust on galaxies? Who do you think I am? Zyphorion? I am King Triva. Deity of the Stars!", he said, angrily.

Erebos scoffed at him. "You shout you name with confidence knowing I have no interest in remembering beings who will cease to exist."

King Triva pulled out a bright, golden sword. Star Storm, the divine blade capable of separating the souls of any being, including being able to drain power. Forged in the brightest part of creation, where existence began. He pointed the sword at Erebos. "The only one who won't exist after this is you."

"Very well, let the dance begin.", Erebos said, as they both charged forward.

They clashed leaving devastation on the planet. Erebos swung his spear extinguishing the stars with the shockwave, darkening the planet. King Triva slashed down to cut him in half, but the sovereign dodged, and the blow split the ground.

"Why are you holding back?", King Triva asked angrily. "Are you looking down on me?"

Erebos remained expressionless. "What did you expect? Did you really think I would waste my power on a mere deity?

Summoning multiple void daggers, he launched them all as King Triva deflected them. Ceasing the opportunity Erebos appeared from behind and cut off the king's arm, the divine blade falling as well and with a single blow Erebos punched through his chest, holding his heart in his hand.

"You should learn to watch your back. I'm not surprised though. You're the highest-ranking deity in the constellation of stars, so much so you were made a king... a pathetic one at that. Your decision coming here was in vain. Now you shall perish.", he said.

King Triva chuckled, coughing blood as he did. "I didn't think it would come to this. Either way you'll be defeated one day. Even if I'm not the cause of your death. Also... You should learn to watch your back."

Erebos then felt a sharp pain in his chest. The Divine Sword pierced through him. He looked behind him to see the one responsible. He laughed.

"To be betrayed by my own servant. This is truly embarrassing."

 "A-a being like you should face an eternal punishment. You've made my people suffer long enough and now you will die.", the servant said, with his voice shaking.

Erebos seeing that he did not have much time as the sword was absorbing his power, crushed King Triva's heart to kill him, and formed a blackhole in his palm, making it explode. and the 3 were separated.
