Episode 1- The Start of School.

Mages.

They were people who could manipulate the flow of mana, to their will and turn it into one of the four great elements.

Earth, wind, fire, and water were the four main elements that people could get, and there were people who got things that were not those elements.

They were called irregular people who would hold an element that wasn't one of the four great ones, but there was a one-in-a-thousand chance that a person would be able to get an element that was beyond the four great elements.

Elements were received and it showed what rank your element spells were at the ranks were…

–High Rank

–Mid Rank

–Low rank

Each person got a rank for their spells, and it determined what level they would be as a mage. People had to train hard to become mages for whatever reason they decided to become mages.

Lemore Academy was one of the five biggest mage academies in the world, a school that was said to make some of the strongest mages in history.

In front of the academy was a male student with sandy-blond hair and big, beautiful caramel-brown eyes, the boy's name was Shito Mahinu— a boy who was getting ready to start his new life at one of the biggest academies in the world.

He was a transfer student who came from a normal family, he had no idea why he had to go to one of the greatest academies.

Why do I have to come to this academy? They should know that I didn't want to come here or be a mage for that fact, I like fighting with swords. Don't tell me they have already found out about my talent for magic.

Mages weren't the only powerhouses that were present in the world, there were also swordsmen who went to schools to train their swordsmanship.

They were also separated through the ranks of high and low rank, but they determined their talent for swordsmanship and how far they could reach.

Shito arrived at the school gate and looked at the student who was dressed up in the school standard uniform, the school uniform consisting of a white shirt, black jacket, and a black skirt, while the boys had black bottoms. He looked around and sighed before walking to the school gates.

All the girls looked at Shito as he walked through the gates and instantly noticed how handsome he looked and the long sandy-blond hair that stretched down his back was flowing in the wind.

"Wow! That guy is handsome!" one of the female students exclaimed as he was walking into the school building.

Shito ignored the female student and continued to walk towards the school building so he could meet with the principal.

When he walked into the massively large school he looked around and noticed that the first door said the principal's office and that made him happy that he did not have to look for it.

Well, I guess this is the room I can meet the principal in I hope I do not have to do anything too hard on my first day, I just want to go back to being a swordsman but there is no leaving now that I got her.

He walked into the principal's office. There sat a beautiful woman with beautiful brown hair and golden eyes, she was dressed in a black suit. Sara Mahinu, the new principal of Lemore Academy.

There he stood looking at the woman that was his older sister, he quickly figured out that she was the reason he had to attend the mage's academy.

I should have known that she was the one who was behind making me come here, why does she always force her will on me, I'm a teenage boy.

Sara smiled at the sight of her little brother; she could tell that he was annoyed by the action she took to get him to the academy.

But she knew it was the only way she was going to be able to get him to the academy since his focus was solely on becoming a swordsman and nothing else.

"You should know why I called you here," Sara said looking at her brother who was clearly frustrated.

Call me here. More like you forced me to come here, you know how hard it is to refuse the academy's request.

Looking at his sister, Shito smiled before he looked out of the window, even though he was frustrated he couldn't do much to escape the situation he was in. There were many reasons she requested him to join the academy…

But there was only one reason and of course, he knew the true reason she called him there, he was a person that could use all types of elements, but no one in the world knew of his existence, only his sister knew he could use all the elements.

"You want me to join your academy before anyone else finds out about my abilities and puts their hands on me."

Sara smiled at her brother, she was impressed that he figured out in that short amount of time of getting the letter, of course, she knew of her brother's genius nature, he was a person who could learn anything in the world if he put his mind to it.

"Ding, Ding. You are as smart as ever." Sara said looking over at her brother who was clearly not enjoying what she was saying to him.

"Just get straight to the point and quit wasting my time."

His sister's smile turned into a profoundly serious expression, and she looked at her brother, there was only one reason she wanted him to come to the academy this early on, she knew that she and her brother would be able to destroy the world if anyone was to attack them.

"I need you to protect a female student in this school."

"Ok, I will do that for you, sis."

Sara was taken aback by his sudden acceptance, and she knew her little brother too well, he was stubborn and always refused to do anything she told him to do, but he accepted her request.

"What are you playing at, little brother?" Sara asked, wondering what her brother could possibly be planning.

There was nothing wrong with a change of pace, he could have so much fun at the academy, and meeting new people could help him with his people skills, but he also knew that something was serious if she was asking him to help her protect the school.

"I know you are being serious right now, so something might be happening here and, in the future, and I'm not going to let my sister die."

From the outside, it would seem like he might hate his sister, but deep down he cares for her since she is the only family he has left. Nothing could come between their siblings' love for each other.

Thus, that was enough for him to swallow everything he felt deep inside of him because for his sister's sake being with her was the best choice.

"Aweeee! Thank you for caring so much about your sister!" Sara said, deeply motivated by her brother's care for her safety.

Shito looked at his sister and smiled before his face turned completely serious, they had been wasting too much time together, and he was ready to go and start his classes.

"Just give me my class so I can go and meet my new classmates we have been here talking to each other for a long time."

Sara threw a piece of paper at him, and he caught it and immediately noticed that it was scheduled for his classes. He took the paper and read what the paper said.

"...So, my class is 1-A …huh?" Shito said, looking at the piece of paper that was in front of his face. He noticed that the class was the highest-ranking class and that the person that he had to protect must be from that class.

He was putting his mind to use, trying to connect all the clues that were laid out in front of him.

So, if I'm in class 1-A then the person that I have to protect must be in that class and nobody would spend their time on a low-rank student because money could probably persuade them to join them, so the person has to be from a high ranking family whose talent is most differently top level, so out of all of the talented families out there the person has to be a vermillion, one of the strongest families in the world, they must have seen this as a chance to attack her when she is away from her family.

Shito looked at his sister and noticed that she was just staring at him with the most curious eyes. She knew not to interrupt him because he was a person who could figure out anything.

Knowing that he had already figured out who had to protect, she smiled and through a note at him.

After catching the note, he knew what he had to do then, there was no talking that needed to be said between the two, their bond had reached a level where they could read each other like an open book.

She is using a note, so that means that people are probably watching us as we are having this conversation. She wants to tell me the person that I'm protecting through this piece of paper.

Shito looked at the piece of paper and his eyes widened a little, he was wondering why they would be after that person of all people.

He looked up at his sister and nodded his head before he crumbled the piece of paper and put it into his pocket.

Walking out of the principal's office, Shito looked at the ceiling of the school building with a flat facial expression.

Tenka Vermillion is the person I'm supposed to be protecting on this mission, this should be an easy task to complete for you… sister.
