Somewhere on the planet Piliheim Giant roots stemmed out far and wide into the distance. While in the middle lay a giant tree that dwarfed the mountains by its sheer size.

Deep within the core of the tree, a beautiful being slowly opened her emerald green eyes as she stared at the distance.

The being was 2 meters tall and had a green skin tone. Her hair was also made of vines. Her name was Yggdrasil, the majestic world tree.

She had kept peace for a long time. After the crimson night, she had to hold together and piece back what was left of the tragedy. This cost her a lot, so she had to hibernate for a long time.

While she was indeed in hibernation, her senses weren't completely cut off. She could sense through the trees and animals, and because of this, she was always informed. It didn't escape her senses when she sensed the disturbance.

She had no choice but to wake up and check to see what was wrong. The moment she opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was the chaotic state of the land.

The earth trembled with fear as the sky thundered in anger. Whatever was happening, it was causing a wave of changes. It was throwing off the balance of nature.

Yggdrasil's brows furrowed as she tried to sense what was causing the mess. However, no matter how much she tried, she couldn't sense what it was. It was almost as if someone was blocking her senses.

Seeing that her senses couldn't detect the cause of the problem, she decided to check it herself personally. Her body slowly turned to roots as she sank into the earth.

This was a skill she had learned to use. She can use her surroundings to travel very fast. She will merge with the trees and hop one after another.

The queen watched in horror as the castle she once lived in was reduced to mere rocks. After the pillar retracted, a giant explosion engulfed the whole castle, destroying it in the process.

If the records are true, then what happens next is the most dangerous. The Queen thought.

Without a second thought, she immediately stood up and faced the elven soldiers. Seeing her determined gaze somehow raised their morale a bit.

"Evacuate now!" The Queen announced

The soldiers hesitated for a bit before evacuating the townsfolk. Seeing that her plan worked, she didn't hesitate and started chanting. Her pupils changed from green to sky blue as a blue glow appeared on her finger.

The Queen looked at the castle, and with a deep breath, she fired the blue bullet above it. She watched as the blue spark traveled up before exploding in a majestic glow.

From that glow, a ripple of space energy crawled out before encasing the whole capital. The Queen cast a space spell that isolated the capital from the rest of the planet.

This act ensured that any damage done would not harm the capital and the people around it. The damage will be sustained in this dimension only.

This was a high-tier spell that almost depleted half her mana. Creating alternate dimensions was no easy feat.

After casting some buffs on herself and nearly consuming all his mana, she took out hundreds of crystals and absorbed them. thus increasing her mana to almost peak once more.

Elves had a different way of using their elemental affinity. While other species tapped into their source and directly used their elements, the elves used an energy called mana and instead used spells that varied depending on their affinity.

Unfortunately, there was a downside to this. While channeling their elemental affinity via mana, they aren't able to use the full capabilities of their elements.

Their way of utilizing their power simply relied too much on mana, which overshadowed the raw power of their elements.

The good side on the other hand, was that it was easy to replenish mana. With the use of mana stones, they can absorb it and fill their tank within seconds.

The Queen looked at the black sphere with a steady gaze as she assessed the severity of the situation. The sphere was already halfway finished. Once the cracks fully cover the sphere, hell will let loose.

Without wasting time, the Queen started pre-casting spells one after another. She didn't want to take chances and risk her kingdom.

Crack.. Crack..

Her attention shifted to the sphere once more as it started breaking at a faster rate. A drop of sweat started falling down her forehead as she observed the events.

Crack.. Crack...

BOOOOM!!

The sphere finally broke! She didn't hesitate and threw a space binding spell, which held her opponent with chains made of space. Afterwards, she activated her spatial sealing zone.

It's another high-tiered spell in which a magic circle will restrain whoever she wishes to be sealed. It will work by dropping a megaton of pressure on the enemy.

It wasn't over yet, as she chanted another spell. A large blue sword suddenly formed above the smoke screen as she dropped it with no remorse.

The sword went down like a meteor until a sudden roar erupted, followed by a dark red projectile. Once the projectile struck the sword, a big explosion ensued.

The explosion wasn't a normal explosion either. It was circular and peaceful, but the damage it caused didn't appear peaceful. The attack looked like a black hole and had the strength of one.

"Impossible.."

'Such a small projectile did that much carnage?' The queen thought in horror.

'What monster is capable of wielding such power?' She thought.

BOOOOOOM!

Before she could react, a black silhouette shot out of the smoke and sent her flying with a punch. Her shield broke like glass being hit by stone.

She hit several houses before stopping abruptly. She puked blood as the pain assaulted her very being. It was horrendous.

When her vision cleared a bit, she finally had a good look at what she was dealing with. a pitch-black creature that looked almost formless. It was made of black smoke and covered in impregnable darkness.

From that darkness, two sets of bloody eyes glowed with malice. A wide grin was also plastered on its face, which reached near its eyes.

The scene sent shivers down her spine.

The creature slowly approached her as she started chanting at a fast rate. Several space rifts appeared out of nowhere as beams of laser shot out.

The creature just stood there and watched the rifts with curiosity. When the laser beam landed on its body, it was just destroyed without any resistance.

The queen's expression turned even worse. Her seals didn't work, nor did her attacks. There was simply nothing working on the abomination.

She gritted her teeth as she forced herself up and chanted another spell. She was now using spells that she hid from the public. Her image didn't matter anymore.

As she continued to chant words, her mana dropped at a terrifying rate. Her eyes also formed magic circles that appeared like cogwheels rotating.

"Spatial rebound," the queen said.

The creature that was approaching suddenly stopped as it noticed the distortion in space. After that, cracks formed on the ground and in the sky as it shattered into pieces.

The queen made a gesture and smacked her palms together.

The scattered pieces suddenly formed into smaller dimensions. Then the queen clasped her hands together.

The smaller dimensions stood still before thrusting towards the dark creature. Hundreds of dimensions hit the creature as millions, if not billions, of tons hit its body.

After all the dimensions combined and turned into one gigantic plane, it suddenly dropped down before erupting in a maniacal explosion.

The Queen soon followed and flopped on the ground as her eyes bled. Her breathing was ragged, and her mana was nearly gone.

Unfortunately, it wasn't over.
