CHAPTER ONE

"Thank you so much for coming into my concert tonight! I love you all!" Aria made a heart with her hands and smile widely to her fans.

The people shouted while waving their light sticks.

"ARIA YOU'RE THE BEST! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"

"ARIA PLEASE REST WELL"

"ARIA LOOK AT ME!!!!"

Aria just smiled and waved her hands to say goodbye to people. The bright stage turned dark and Aria had leaved to go to the backstage.

She sat on the chair while the manager wiped the sweat on her face and neck.

"Wow that was exhausting but totally worth it. It was so perfect!" Aria said with a happy tone. The manager just smiled and told her after she go home she should rest well and take care of her voice.

Aria has been on the idol insdustry for 5 years now. She quickly rose into fame at the age of 18. Her debut album was a big hit because of its good sounds, great promotions and her voice was unique, it was unbeatable.

People said she has the voice of a siren, her voice can hypnotized everybody. Many singers had tried to copy her voice but failed.

She's also not lacking on physical looks. She has a phoenix eyes, her nose is thin and has a high bridge. Her lips are delicate and her face shape compliments her features. Her body is tall and her legs are long.

People called her "the favorite daughter of heaven".

Even before she doesn't lack admirers, in fact she have many of them.

But at the young age, she had developed perfectionism. It was because her parents was very critical of her and they have unrealistic high expectations for her.

At the age of 6, she started vocal training. Her parents disapproved of it because they thought it's just a waste of time. They just want her to study well and learn the violin.

Fortunately, she have her auntie who always courages her to do things she want. Every weekend, her auntie will accompany her to the vocal trainer. The reasons she will always tell her parents are "I have no school today, I already finished all of my school works. I have no violin lessons today. Ma and Pa, I have nothing else to do so I'll just go to auntie Jo."

Everything she did isn't enough on her parents' eyes. Even if others think she's doing extremely well, if her parents aren't thinking like that, then she won't feel like she's doing extremely well. Her parents' praise were the thing that she longs the most.

Aria may seem like everything's going fine for her but on the inside it's the opposite. She is the kind of person who is full of insecurities and fears the judgements and disapproval of others. Everytime it happens, she'll feel extreme shame and wants to disappear from the world.

Aria left the venue and got into the car. She fell asleep and after an hour, the manager woke her up. "We're here."

She opened her eyes and stand up from her seat. "Thank you manager. I'll go inside now." she smiled on her manager before heading inside her home.

Her cat Yuyu welcomed her from the door. Yuyu "meowed" a lot of times and showed its belly to Aria.

"My baby Yuyu, I know you're hungry. You only do this when you want food and you don't even know I exist when you don't need something from me." Aria laughed. She kissed her cat on its head before filling its bowl with cat foods.

After that, Aria sat to the sofa. She opened her phone and saw her name on top of twitter trend. Everyone is talking positively about her. "Great." she thought.

She sat on the sofa for a little while, spacing out. She hasn't eaten anything yet but decided to just take a bath because she's already too exhausted and sleepy.

After the bath, she blow dried her hair and quickly fell asleep.

The next morning at 10:40 AM she received a call that caused her to wake up. She picked up her phone and saw that it was her friend from high school calling.

She sat on the bed and answered the phone.

"Hello." she said with a sleepy tone.

"Good morning, Aria. There'll be a high school reunion!"

"Oh?" she rubbed her eyes before standing up. "High school reunion? when?" she asked curiously.

"We don't have a date yet. Kenji, the class president was the one who planned it. When are you available?"

"Hmm I don't know yet. But you guys can plan it without me." she answered while smiling.

"No! the BPGYG has missed you!"

BPGYG stands for "beauty, pretty, gorgeous young girls". Aria started it on high school. It was actually just a silly idea she made out of boredom but she didn't expect the young maidens to actually take that seriously.

She laughed, "okay, okay!! I'll tell you guys when I am free."

After that the phone hung up. The next phone call came from her manager.

"Good morning. Get ready now. You have a photoshoot at 1 PM."

"Okay! I will eat now manager. You should also eat manager!" she told her manager excitedly.

Her manager has been taking care of her eversince she's a rookie to the industry. Though they've known each other for 5 years already, her manager's quite aloof and detached so she find it hard to further her relationship with her as manager-idol.

"Yes, you too. We'll pick you up at 12:30" after that the phone call ended.

Aria stroked her cat before feeding it. She prepared her breakfast and finished them quickly.

She browsed the internet for 1 hour before deciding to take a bath. After that, she started picking her outfit. She chose to wear a black and white crop top long sleeve, black sleeveless dress and a checkered ribbon.

The time was 12:30 PM when she heard her doorbell rang. She got her things and said goodbye to her cat before going outside. She saw her manager standing with an umbrella- it wasn't raining but it was scorching hot because they are in the middle of summer. Though her outfit isn't summer friendly, she still chose them because the reason is simple, it looks good on her so she chose to endure the heat.

They got into the car and 25 minutes later they have arrived to the photoshoot. She greeted the people and they started doing her make up. They also change her clothes.

She's a new brand ambassador for a luxury brand. The photoshoot lasted for 7 hours. So by the time they had finished, it was already 8:56 PM.

She decided to go into a restaurant and treat her manager and the driver. "Eat well!" she said enthuastically and started eating. The two also started eating.

She likes eating with other people. When she was staying on her parents' house, they are often at work so she either have to eat alone or eat with the maids. She doesn't have any siblings.

Both her mother and father grew up with a lot of money. They haven't really experience any hardships when it comes to money but at a cost she grew up pretty lonely.

Her mother and father are cold towards each other. It doesn't even look like they have love for each other- they don't even try faking it in front of Aria.

When she was 13, she caught her father kissing another woman. He even have the nerve to do it on their own house. Her father knew Aria saw them but he just gave her a cold indiffirence. She told what she saw to her mother but her mother just said "I don't care. You have a B on your report card. Do better, kid."

It was already 10 years since that happened and eversince she lived by herself, she doesn't talk to her parents anymore. She wonder everyday whether they have forgotten that they have a daughter. Well it's not like she's someone important, anyway. She's just someone born into this world just so those two people can abuse her with their words.

She also wasn't close with her relatives. A lot of them live overseas or they've forgotten about her but only came back when she have the money. They know they couldn't deceive her parents but they thought they can deceive her.

Her grandparents also live overseas. And like her other relatives, she also don't talk to them. Her grandparents favor her other cousins. She have her auntie but she rarely talk to her now because her auntie is a mother of three kids now. It is a very stressful duty so she doesn't have any time to see her.

She has friends and she's pretty well liked but being a very popular idol makes her schedule conflict with them. So naturally, her friends will rarely or stop talking with her because she can't go hang out with them and she got not much stories to tell.

At 9:40 PM she got home.

Her phone inside her bag made a sound. She received a message.

From: Julia

DARLING MY DATE FAILED!!!!! HE FUCKING CATFISHED ME!!!!! FUCKING LIAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!! I WON'T BELIEVE TO THIS ONLINE LOVE NOW! THIS IS A FUCKING WORK OF SATAN.

She laughed. Julia is a kind of rare close friend of hers. They have been friends since she was 12. They consider each other as sister.

They exchanged banters before she took a bath and go to bed to sleep.
