VITALITY [BL]

Yuliang Davos is an omega with a lot on his plate; completing his internship, working part-time, studying for his Healer Certification exam, keeping his twin in check, and suppressing his transformations. He has no time for friends, fun, adventure, or romance. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a choice. _____________________________________________________ [Warnings]: This story covers some heavy topics and includes characters and actions of dubious morality. The chapters are short because my attention span is limited, and I can't write 1k words in one sitting. I don't think it's a big issue, though, since the story will be a really long one either way, just in bite sizes. Unbeta'ed T_T because I have no friends, but the errors should be minimal. _____________________________________________________ It may take a while for the main romance to unravel, but I promise that it will be worth the wait in the end.

Home Sweet Home IV

Yuliang was just finishing up cleaning the kitchen when Yukio came back looking clean and happy until he noticed a distinct lack of a certain person and his face fell.

"The clinic?" he asked, forcing a smile back on his face and taking his usual seat at their four-person dining table and lifting the cover to see the still warm food. His granny's cooking smelt as delicious as it always did on the rare occasion he had been able to have it.

Yuliang grunted, "Where else could she be. Not even death will stop that woman from going back there."

"Yuliang! Don't talk about granny that way!"

Yuliang just scoffed and continued sweeping the floors.

Yukio was just about to help himself to the food, but he prevented himself, seeing his brother still running around the place with a broom.

He sighed, "Yuliang. Could you please put that down and come eat. I know for a fact that you haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning."

Yuliang looked back and opened his mouth to protest, but Yukio wasn't having it. He asserted himself and pointed at the empty table placement before him.

"Now, Yuliang. Cleaning can wait for later. I'll even help you with it."

"But you'll do it wrong, and I'll have to redo everything," Yuliang grumbled, but he did lean his broom on a wall and obediently do as he was told.

Yukio didn't touch a single dish until his brother joined him at the table and the pair finally had their first good meal together in a very long time.
