Entrance exam part 4

There was a long silence in the testing field where then nobles took the test. Most commoners did not see what happened but those who did cheered in their hearts. They could not do it openly because they and their families could get hurt or even killed by the retaliation of the nobles.

Max got his point to those retards and wanted to leave but then he heard the teacher responsible of the test announce : "His majesty Jake's turn".

When Max heard this he smiled and stayed. Rey was so happy to put this noble in the trash bin and the fact that he was a level three knight apprentice so he did not care and see those noble's embarrass themselves. Jake was a very proud youth and he saw what was coming.

He did not want to get embarrassed before those commoners that took the spotlight. He said: "Leave."

This did not sound like a proposal but a command. This only increased Max's determination to stay and embarrass this little shit.

Max answered with a sneer: "I came to recruit promising youths. Maybe you will show something interesting."

The prince was not used to people not listening to him. His words were law and those who did not listen or did not good enough could get punished or even killed.

The prince looked at his guard and the guard acted even without any words. He got the point of his young master. He started to walk toward the teacher and student duo with a clear hostile intent.

Max was surprised. He did not expect this little shitter would act against him with no fear in the open. It showed how rotten this society was.

Max just materialized a huge file ball and said: "Do you want to die? I don't mind turning another knight to ash."

The guard that was on the level of a knight. He was not weak but he knew Max evaporated more than one knight to ashes. The guard halted.

Max commented: "Don't forget your place."

The prince got the point that he will not get things done his way this time. He snorted and went toward the measuring machine. He was hell bent on not giving those commoners the satisfaction of humiliating him.

He was a level two knight apprentice and he needed 600 kg result to pass. Now he wanted to get the maximum result and not get humiliated by a commoner. He gathered all of his strength and hit the measuring device with a battle cry!

The numbers of the measuring machine started to rotate and started on the number of 750kg. When the prince saw this result his face turned red from anger. He gathered all of his strength again and hit the measuring machine. The result was better but it was only 770kg. The prince got even more mad and hit the third time. The third result was 740kg because he lost control of himself. The prince passed but he started to hit the rocks around him like a child starting a tantrum. He did not look like a prince at all. He could not do anything to this teacher and he did not really know what to do with himself. He never encountered such situation before.

Max was satisfied. He turned around and said to Rey: "Let's go and find you some classmates. Remember. If you want to get better I have a way but it will cost all nobles 100 times more."

After that he just left. The nobles stayed silent for a long time.

The tests continued. Max did not really spot anyone worthy. It was kinda sad. Valeria found a few boys that she thought were decent. Max did not argue with her and just registered them. At the end of the tests the teachers were flooded with students that wanted to register. The teachers tried to get the best of the best and they check the results of the two last tests to see who was more worthy to nurture. Max did not accept anyone that came to him. He told everyone: "If you want you can come after this test and show me your skills. If you have skills, of course. If you do I will take you in."

After that declaration no one came towards Max anymore except the ones that failed and thought that they are capable. The other attendants that passed needed to register and not to hope for his approval so they all left to try their luck in other places. Soon the test ended. The students that could not register were devastated. They passed but no one wanted them. It was tragic. All of them went to Max to show their skills after the tests.

Max said to the big audience of students gathered: "If you don't have superb martial talent you better not waste my time."

The testing of the attendants for martial skills started. Max started to regret the fact that he decided to test students that way. He was right. It was horrible. The boys tried to do anything so will except them. The girls tried offer themselves. Max was shocked. Even girls were ready to give him themselves to get accepted, but Max was not interested. He screamed that if one more girl will offer herself he will blacklist her from the academies of the capital. After that a small group of youths remained. Max saw that they believed that they had the qualifications to be part of his class. He started testing but he was still disappointed. They were not good enough. After around 20 rounds he started to get irritated and was thinking of closing the test. He wanted to go and rest or just do his own thing. He said to himself that he would test few more students and than end this failed plan.

A new attendant got in front of Max. Max saw so many of them so he did not really for their names anymore. Max said only one word: "Attack."

The youth that was around twelve got a wooden sword out and attacked towards Max's abdomen. Max did a simple block with the intention to throw away the youth and disqualify him with his next move, but the youth was not simple. In the middle of the motion he changed the direction of the hit in a way that Max would get him on the head. The kid was not even an apprentice knight so he was very slow. It was not hard to evade this hit. The point was that the motion and the implementation was impressive. Someone at the power level of the kid would most likely get hit with not much chances to evade.

After getting to a fighting position again Max changed his expression slightly and said: "Again."
