After finishing the first level of the simulation Wilfred asked the system to give him the same material that he made his own sword from before entering the second level of the simulation. It was not the second level task of the system for blacksmiths but just Wilfred curiosity. He just wanted to see how much better he became after finishing the first level of the simulation. After some time and effort Wilfred got the final result. When he saw the data, he became shocked. It was so much better. HOLY SHIT!
"Common long sword. Attack damage +40" 'Oh my god. Did I get to a level of a blacksmith master?' Wilfred thought. He could not believe that he got so much better. It was a couple of years in the simulation, but it was still something he believed he would not achieve in a lifetime without the guidance of the simulation. He knew that he was the best blacksmith in the country right now. He did not know how much levels the simulation had but he wanted to get the best out of the 1000 gold coins he spent. He wanted to be the best version of himself.
After some rest he continued to the second level. In the level the task was much more interesting. To make a weapon with very hard and sharp surface that is made by making the steel go through an aging process. The aging process is done when you put the metal or steel into some level of temperature for some time depending on the graph of aging you have for this material. Depending on the temperature the maximum amount of time you need to put the material in this environment is determined. It is another type of hardening the Wilfred learned in theory. Now it was time to practice it. He tried different time limits for different materials, and he got a few favorites that he needed to hold for a few minutes before the aging process was finished. Also, he had a time limit that he could get the equipment out of the oven to cool down. This time of getting the weapon or armor out of the oven could cause the material to be in the oven more than it should have been. It could cause a drop in the properties of the material. It took the blacksmith some time to get his favorite materials for this type of craft. He also memorized the time limits for each type of material because he was not sure if he could get those books to the outside world. What he did got from the system with part of him money was a temperature measurement small magic equipment that showed the temperature inside the oven and a small stoper to see the time the equipment was inside the furnace. People here did not have watches. There was no progressive technology. People measured time by the sun. The stoper use was explained by the system, and it helped Wilfred to regulate and hold the right temperature for the right amount of time. After getting used for the process and memorizing everything Wilfred got the result that made him happy. The simulation voice approved his product.
"Common tempered long sword. Attack damage +50. Congratulations for the user for complementing the second level of the simulation. The user got to the level of blacksmith apprentice. Congratulation for the user for achieving such feat. Because the user is the first one to get to the level of blacksmith apprentice, he will be granted 100 common long swords in the training of enchanting weapons. Do you want to proceed to the next level?" The system announced.
"What the fuck!?" Wilfred yelled. He was sure that he was scratching the boundary of the level of a blacksmith master, but he was so wrong. He was not even at a level of blacksmith apprentice until now? He did not get why the grading of the system was so different from what he knew. That meant he had a long way to go to become a real blacksmith. What the hell!? His world turned upside down. He did not know what to do. He knew that if he announced that in public people will think he gone mad but now he got the point of a true mastery over his beloved blacksmithing. Also Wilfred heard about enchantments. He knew that stuff like that existed but still it was something more of a legend. Only high-level empires knew about things like that. Wilfred lived in the lowest ranked empire possible on the continent. It was hard to emigrate to a higher-level Empire. He did travel around the empire but there was no knowledge about things like enchantment in any of the bigger countries. Even the ninth level country inside the empire, the strongest country had no data about those blacksmithing techniques. Even the technique about tempering the sword by aging was not known in the empire and it was a technique that was needed to get the apprentice level inside the simulation. It was mind blowing. Wilfred got out of the simulation and told Max that he will be back soon. It was a good timing for exiting the capsule because Wilfred got out of the simulation during daytime. He got out only three swords out of his simulation. He kept all the rest inside the simulation. He asked the system about his other equipment, and he was informed that his equipment will saved by the system. The system could recognize every person that entered it, and it could just load all of the things he done and save all the things the user bought. Wilfred got the sword that got him to finish the first level of the simulation with +20 attack damage, the sword with the +40 attack damage that was a check of his abilities progress compared to before finishing first simulation level and the last sword he made with the +50 attack damage. Wilfred was pretty sure that even the king of their country did not have a sword with +50 attack damage. Wilfred knew that he would make better equipment in the future, so he was ready to sell those three swords and pay part of the sum he got from Eden. He had to pay Eden back for his trust. He knew that Eden would get a big surprise when he will see the equipment Wilfred created. He did not know that even those swords will cause a big commotion in the entire country...
