Earth-level weapons have 6 tiers while sky-level weapons have 7 tiers. Usually, the weapons used by magicians are depending on the level and also the element they have.

For example, my sword which is a tier 3 earth level weapon with the ability to manipulate wind, is compatible with my wind element.

Then for additional information, in the sun kingdom, earth level weapons tier 5 and 6 are weapons that are quite difficult to obtain and very limited in number, mostly only owned by high-level magicians who have recognized their strength.
