Villian's Fiancee Is A Sword Saintess

I volunteered to transmigrate in my favourite fantasy novel and became a villian with a strong background and with a fiancee who later becomes a sword saintess in the novel. What Arthur didn't know was that he became one of the chess pieces in the battle between the gods of the universe. Will Arthur remain as a chess piece or become one of the players himself or become something who no one expected. Notes: i do not own the book cover. if you are the illustrator , please let me know I will remove it( using it temporarily) DISCLAIMER: work of fiction. All the names, places and events are all purely based on the authors imagination. any resemblance to an actual person or events is purely coincidental .

FIRST DAY IN ANOTHER WORLD

The maid timidly approached, her hands trembling as she held out a medicine potion.

Despite her fear of my reputation for harsh treatment of servants, she mustered the courage to stand before me.

"Master, please take the medicine," she pleaded in a timid voice. Surprisingly, I didn't react with my usual harshness. Instead, I simply nodded and said, "Thank you."

The maid was visibly shocked by my unexpected response. With a bow of her head, she quickly retreated from the room, as though she had narrowly escaped a disaster.

I paid little attention to her reaction and took the medicine she offered. Soon, the pain in my body began to fade, and a wave of relaxation washed over me.

As drowsiness set in, I contemplated taking some rest, when suddenly, a message appeared before me from the system.

{ Memory binding process began }

I was engulfed in an unbearable pain, feeling as though countless needles were piercing my skull. My body was drenched in sweat as I delved into the memories of Arthur, experiencing the events of his past ten years.

I learned about his rigorous body training, his relatively decent relationships with his parents and siblings, and his cruel treatment of his servants.

After enduring the agonizing process, the memory binding was successful. I now understood why Arthur had been injured and unconscious in his room for the past few days, a detail I had already written in the novel.

It turned out that during his training in the demonic forest, he had been attacked by a group of dusk wolves—an F-rank monster, the lowest rank in this world.

Despite the clan's appointment of a C-rank martial artist as a protector for direct descendants and genius members, help would only be provided in cases of extreme danger.

Additionally, I learned that everyone in this world awakens their abilities at the age of 10, determining their talent and potential for the future.

In this world, there are two main paths that an awakened individual can pursue.

The first is the path of magic, where one focuses on increasing their mana and mastering various spells of different elements according to their affinity.

The second path is that of a martial artist, where individuals concentrate on body training and honing their weapon skills.

As for the knowledge beyond this, it will be revealed during the awakening ceremony in the clan, which is scheduled to take place three months from today.

Lost in thoughts about the upcoming ceremony, I was interrupted by the sound of the door opening once again.

Expecting the maid to return with medicine, I was surprised to see two individuals entering instead—a man and a woman.

The man exuded an aura reminiscent of a ferocious dragon, though he managed to restrain it, leaving me unaffected.

However, the woman by his side emitted a peaceful aura, and her eyes expressed joy and relief upon seeing me awake.

Observing the resemblance between Arthur and the two individuals who entered the room, I surmised that they must be my parents in this world.

As my parents settled into the room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity and comfort wash over me.

"How's your health, son?" my father inquired with a gentle tone.

"I'm feeling much better now, Father," I replied, offering him a small smile.

He nodded approvingly before turning his attention to examining my aura circulation. "You seem to be recovering well. Just make sure to rest for a couple more days," he advised.

Meanwhile, my mother hovered nearby, her eyes filled with concern. "You had us worried sick, dear," she scolded lightly, though her words were laced with relief.

"I promise to be more careful in the future, Mother," I assured her, reaching out to grasp her hand reassuringly.

After a moment of silence, my father chimed in, changing the subject to lighten the mood. "So, have you been keeping up with your martial arts?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

We spent the next few minutes chatting about various topics, from my training to the upcoming awakening ceremony.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, being surrounded by my parents' warmth and care made me feel at ease. Eventually, they bid me farewell, reminding me to take care of myself before leaving to attend to their clan duties.

As they departed, I contemplated my next course of action—obtaining the Dragon Fruit treasure located in the Demonic Forest, protected by the flood python, a formidable D-rank monster.

In the story, consuming this fruit by flood python would grant it immense power, potentially evolving into a Flood Dragon and eventually into a True Dragon, thanks to consuming the fruit which had the origin blood of an Ancient Dragon millions of years ago.

With the fruit set to mature in two months, I realized the need to bolster my strength in preparation. Curious about the capabilities of my system, I inquired about its functions.

{ Host, I can provide basic information on anything existing in this world, except for a few topics due to the host's current strength limitations. }

{ Additionally, I can use appraisal on individuals. }

{ I will also release quests that you can complete for rewards, with no penalty for failure. }

MAID POV

As the new maid assigned to the second young master of the Red Dragon Clan, I couldn't help but feel apprehensive.

Rumors of his cruel actions towards servants and his arrogant demeanor towards other clan members had spread like wildfire.

However, as I entered his room to administer his medicine, I was taken aback by his unexpected reaction.

Despite my trembling and stuttering, the young master, Arthur, didn't scold me or mete out any punishment as the rumors had suggested. Instead, he simply thanked me for bringing him the medicine.

In that moment, my preconceived notions about him shattered. Perhaps I had been foolish to believe the gossip surrounding him.

From his demeanor and actions, it became clear to me that he was not the person the rumors portrayed him to be. In fact, he seemed like a genuinely kind-hearted individual.

As I left his room, I couldn't shake the feeling of gratitude towards him for dispelling the misconceptions I had held. From that day onward, I vowed to serve him to the best of my abilities, knowing now that he deserved nothing but respect and admiration.
