Salene pov

We are driving very calmly, as if he hasn't noticed i dont have my siren tail anymore. I am just sitting in silence, unsure of what to do or say.

"So… how did you meet the boss?"

"I think I served him at my bar once."

"Wait, boss drinks!? And you own a bar?"

" Yes, and yes, i was getting out of my showcase swimming pool when the scientists took me"

"Hm, never thought the boss would hang out at a fishes bar."

"Its siren, get it right. I'm not a mermaid or a fish.

"Sure." pulls up to the base.

I open the car door, get our and i turn away from the base walking away. He wants to call me a fish, then i'm not listening to what his boss has to say.

"Hello salene." Taro steps in front of him. I look at him.

"Oh hey taro. Tell you men I will not tolerate being call a fish any longer.'

"Ill make sure the understand so it won't happen again."

"Thanks. How have you been?"

"Ive been alright. Now please… come in?" He looks as if thinking about words.

"Fine." i walk back to where he is standing. I notice that although this is their base, its my bar. They moved things around!! I ignore it.

Taro POV

I have salene sit down at a table and i sit across from her. I put the files down that carbon took infront of her.

"What do those men want with you?" the translator repeats after me.

"To study."

"Why would they study you? They know about your voice being destroyed."

" probably to see how I still exist. Since you know, my voice was my primary weapon." My phone started to ring so I stepped out telling them to do as Salene says. I stand out in the hall talking… Once I finished I walked back out and gave her a note. It had a room number and key.

"Till everything calms down please stay in that room. Calos will stay near in case something happens he will be there. If you have any request, use the cell in the room to call him. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience." i bow my head once the translator finishes i walk away
