Soon the tournament will start
Adela and Elise were making their way straight onto the field. "My lady!" murmured Elise as she walked away.
"Yes."
Adela came to a standstill and gazed at Elise. "My lady, don't you need to take some rest?" Elise remarked in a stern voice.
"No, I'm good."
After saying this, she resumed her stroll. Elise kept quiet and followed Adela, saying nothing more. They stood close to the audience area railing. From the second floor, Elise could see a vast field below her.
It startled Elise to witness it because it was her first experience. Adela remained seated rather than going to the competitor's resting area. She didn't go there since she knew it would spoil her mind.
She thus wanted to avoid becoming agitated before the competition, and there was another reason not to go. Another reason was her father. Since she knew her father would go there to seek her out, she refrained from going. She didn't want to talk to her father.
