"Has anything happened between you and the first prince?"
Adela stiffened her spine as she heard Francis. Francis' comments on the first prince surprised her. Did the first prince ask Francis a question after she departed from them?
Adela considered this as she pressed her lips together. Although she spoke tensely, her expression didn't reflect it.
"No, we were simply wandering around."
"Just wondering? Adela, you just met him, so don't put too much faith in people," Francis said.
"Oh, come on, Francis, that wasn't what you were thinking," Adela replied as she groaned and shook her head. "We were only introducing ourselves."
Francis tightened his lips, and he didn't ask Adela further about it. He took a deep breath and continued.
"I need to let you know something important. I suppose it's time to tell you."
