History of Magic in Erian Empire

I woke up with the sunlight crawling onto my skin. Today is marked as the first week of staying in this world. For a week I only gained one thing and that was knowing Rina's magic.

The engagement is still not canceled but fortunately, the crown prince stopped bothering me. I started reading books about magic in the library and discovered a lot.

There are four types of magic before the Erian empire was built but only two of them were acknowledged and the other two were banned from using or even studying because the first emperor told the citizens that the three types of magic were evil.

Although a lot of people can use magic, nothing can be compared to our family's strength in terms of magic. The Atelier family is the direct descendant of the first archmage who used all forms of elemental magic during ancient times.

Divine magic was bestowed by the goddess Ashulla to the rulers of the empire — the royal family. According to the book I read in the library, divine magic was used by the first emperor to defeat the demon who planned to put an end to the world. Every prince and princess with royal blood in the palace possessed divine magic but not all of them have the same amount of mana. Strong mana from birth means you will become the next successor of the throne because you can use strong divine powers. However, there is a possibility that a child of the emperor will be born with magic labeled as evil. It is because the first empress thousand years ago was also a mage with 'that' type of magic.

In the book, Kaiser had divine magic but nothing was stated about the first prince since he died before the story reached its climax. Thus, my new plan should be to save the first prince before his death in the first week of winter.

I am sure that only the royal family and the saintess can have divine powers then what was the light aura I absorbed in that dream?

"my lady, are you awake?" Lily entered the room carrying a basin of water and placed it on the table beside my bed.

"Can you bring my breakfast here?"

"yes, my lady" she replied and left the room. I washed my face using the water brought by Lily.

6th of June, year 365 on the imperial calendar. Not long ago, the banquet where Kaiser fell in love with Flory happened and the next big event will be on this year's winter. I need to meet the first prince and prevent his death.

I reviewed again the types of magic stated in the book I've read. The second type of magic that was recognized is elemental magic. There are tons of elemental magic. One can possess two but no one except the great archmage thousand years ago possessed everything.

Mages from the magician tower created a magical item that is useful for citizens who cannot use any forms of magic such as a recorder, invisibility, and items for changing their appearance.

However, the two types marked as evil magics were Alchemy and the most dangerous is Sorcery.

"my lady, your breakfast is ready"

I stopped thinking about magic as I began eating the food that Lily brought.

"is my brother back?"

"yes, lady. He is with your father"

"Help me get dressed, I'll greet them" good timing. I'll now ask my brother to teach me magic. This will be a great chance to learn and be useful to kick stupid people's faces like the crown prince.
