" Come to think of it, I should finish up my errands before going to rest. Sigh… I'm so tired." Neville thought as he walked on the streets. It was a Thursday morning and people were rushing to their jobs some of them probably late.
Because of this morning rush, the streets were filled in men and women in black. Their faces in panic or annoyance or joy for the positive ones or maybe they just liked their jobs.
In this sea of humans it was difficult to walk. Walk too fast and you step on someone's heel probably removing their shoes or tripping them. Walk too slow and someone does the same to you or maybe bumps on you. In these 'early' hours people tend to easily get annoyed. But there he walked in his pace not bumping anyone and dodging the ones that were too distracted to notice him.
Step by step he made it to the Bank in 30 minutes.
Walking in he had to look for a number dispenser and grab a ticket for "Deposits/Transactions." Wait for his number to be called.
While waiting he checked his tip from yesterday was of cash in the envelope he had. He discovered that they weren't all hundred dollar bills so he had to separate them into denominations while simultaneously counting them. It added up to 2900, Mr. Blaire was quiet generous. He took out 700 which he budgeted for some shopping and a phone.
Then he looked at his check. It was 29730. His average yearly net income was about 72000 so this was very generous.

When his number was called he approached the teller counter with his check and cash. He politely greeted her and state his intentions handing over what he had. He provided is ID.
The teller counted the cash and verified the check information. She also asked him to confirm the amount of the check deposit which he did. Once he did the teller, processed the deposit and provided him with a receipt. With that done he walk out.
" That one, please." He pointed out a phone.
" Alright then." The salesman smiled.
Later he walked out of the phone store poorer but with a new phone. It was cheap but it did what he wanted, browse, call and receive.
He decided to take a cab to his home, normally he would walk and save the cash but he was too tired. He even cancelled his grocery shopping plans because he was tired.
He stopped the cab in front of a little family restaurant and took a meal to go.
" wait you didn't greet Evelyn!!" a waitress yelled at the Neville who was escaping.
" Haha… later I'll come by." He said awkwardly.
" Make sure you do." She said.
" I'll apologize to the madam then .." he said as he walked out going to get some rest.
Reaching home he wolfed down the pancakes with some orange juice. Remove his suit and plopped on the bed.
[11:01]
*********"
*buzz*buzz*buzz*buzz*
*Knock*knock*knock*
This time it was not his phone but it was the doorbell. The person was ringing and knocking in an annoying rhythm. So he got up and walked to the door while in his white t-shirt and briefs.
He opened the door and a man in black with a buzz cut, muscular build and rough face was revealed.
" You Grey?" he asked his voice deep.
" Yes…?!" Neville answered.
The gorilla man stretched his hand and gave him a key.
" A- Depot. Airport by 6." He then walked away.
Though he was a man of few words Neville got an idea of what he meant. 'The car is in depot A and you should be at the Airport by 6.'
Sighing Neville shut the door and looked at the key. He put it on a bowl and moved to his bed. Taking out his phone he found out that it was [4:47]. He sighed again and rose from the bed.
He headed to the bathroom and picked up his toothbrush and paste on the way.
Coming out a couple minutes later after a cold shower, he dried himself off and started dressing up. He took his black leather shoes polished them and put them on. After that he made sure to comb his hair. He was done preparing and had a couple minutes left.
Taking his wallet, phone and keys he walked out of his apartment again. He was about to take a cab to Depot A when he remembered that he made a promise.
So he walked to the family restaurant and when he opened the door ringing the bell on top a voice called out, " oh… looks who showed up."
" Hello Evelyn." Neville said with a small smile.
" I feel like you have been avoiding me more and more…" She said shaking her head sighing.
" Anyway it looks like you are headed to work. So I won't keep you long. I wanted to give you something it from your brother." She said handing him a letter.
" Was there an emergency?" Neville asked his smile fading.
" I don't know . You know the only reason he passed it through me was to make sure you received it and accepted it. I'm sorry I couldn't refuse." Said Evelyn with an apologetic gaze.
" It's alright I will look for him later."
" Okay with that out of the way, when are you going to visit me? I could cook for you…"
" I'm sorry, I can't." Neville said. " But I can eat your food from here anyways…" Neville said with a smile.
" Sigh… look wh-" Evelyn was about to say something but got interrupted.
" Hey can I get some food here? Today might be nice." Shouted a customer.
" Someone serve that man." Evelyn ordered.
" we're shorthanded…"
" Do I have to do everything myself I'm just an old lady!" shouted Evelyn.
" I'm sorry I have to help them, but I hope we can talk later." Said Evelyn holding both of Neville's hands.
" Sure. I'll leave you to it." Neville said pulling hid hands back as he waved before leaving.
"Okay Depot A… but where is the car?" Neville arrived and held his car key.
" You Grey?" someone called, a mechanic with a blue bandana hanging from his pocket.
" Yes." Neville replied.
" This way." The man said dropping a wrench on a toolbox and led Neville to the basement garage. "Your car is in there." He said.
Neville walked in the dimly lit garage, that was cold. His steps were echoing in the quiet space as various luxurious vehicles were parked here in their designated spots.
But he was looking for a Mercedes.
Then he sported it at the far left corner. And walked to it.
A Mercedes-Benz Maybach, designed for comfort, performance and prestige. On the outside other than the two tone paint, rims and logo there was not much. The details were inside.
